## WE GOT CHICKEN BABIES! 

All of Sizzle (the white one) and Judd's hard work paid off, in the form of two baby chickens today.  They've been sitting on five eggs for nearly a month and still have one left under them.  So far we've had no success from the incubator that was started before these hens went broody.

We took them and put them in here, with heat lamps and plenty of food and fresh water.  They've been lively all day, eating and drinking and sleeping mostly, with the occasional peck to one another.  One day in and they're already fighting, typical chicken stuff.

They basically need to stay in here for a few weeks until they're older then they'll be put out for short durations, just like the [silkies](https://steemit.com/photography/@lily-da-vine/farm-updates-new-silkie-night-house-shots).
