Greetings art lovers and artists friends, welcome to my publication.

Today I wanted to start a series of drawings of cats, since I usually meet many of them where I am currently living, so I came up with the idea of doing some practice in drawing some animals, in this case the cat, so today I share with you my first complete cat that I draw, I hope you like it.

Lately, I have started to like cats a lot, since I used to be a dog lover, but thanks to the cats I have had, I am starting to like them a lot, they are very loving and neat with themselves, they are always attentive to us when we are somewhere and their fur is so soft and warm that you will not stop to hug them.

El día de hoy quise comenzar una serie de dibujos de gatos, ya que normalmente me encuentro a muchos de ellos en donde me encuentro viviendo actualmente, así que se me ocurrió la idea de hacer algunas prácticas en dibujar algunos animales, en este caso el gato, así que hoy les comparto mi primer gato completo que dibujo, espero les guste.

Últimamente, me ha comenzado a gustar mucho los gatos, ya que anteriormente era amante de los perros, pero gracias a los gatos que he tenido, me están comenzando a gustar mucho, son muy amorosos y aseados con ellos mismos, siempre están atentos a nosotros cuando estamos en algún lugar y su pelaje es tan suave y caliente que no pararais de abrasarlos

First I started creating a series of geometric figures like the circle, oval and rectangles, giving it the shape of a cat lying down, the rectangle under what will become the body of the cat is a rock, as I remembered a yellow cat that I had seen lying on one.

Then I clarified a little this layer, since I will begin to make the silhouette of my cat completely, thanks to this technique, it allows me to visualize better how the structure of my cat would be and since I am not so skilled in drawing animals, I wanted to begin to make this series and see how much I have improved in the process. 

When I finished creating the silhouette of my cat, I erased the previous layer so that it could no longer be seen in my drawing, but only the structure of it.

Primero comencé creando una serie de figuras geométricas como el círculo, óvalo y rectángulos, dándole la forma de un gato acostado, el rectángulo debajo de lo que vendrá siendo el cuerpo del gato es una roca, ya que recordé un gato amarillo que había visto acostado sobre una.

Acto seguido aclarecí un poco esta capa, ya que comenzaré a realizar la silueta de mi gato completamente, gracias a esta técnica, me permite visualizar mejor en como quedaría la estructura de mi gato y como no soy tan diestro en dibujar animales, he querido comenzar a realizar esta serie y ver que tanto he mejorado en el proceso.

Al terminar de crear la silueta de mi gato, borre la capa anterior para que ya no se pudiera ver en mi dibujo, sino solamente la estructura del mismo.

Then I started to give some color to my cat, for his fur I used the orange color and for some shadows the same orange color, but a little bit darker, for the rest of the fur I used white, like for example his paws, tail, chest and mouth, using a much darker color for their respective shading.

Then I started to work on the eyes, I wanted to make it blue, to highlight more its beauty and I used some white pixels to give more brightness to its eyes, at first I wanted to use a much darker tone than the previous one in the case of its fur, so I could create a gradient, but I didn't understand why I wasn't convinced by that color so I decided to leave it only in 2 types of tones in the orange, one light and one dark, in the other drawings I will focus a little more on these details.

Finally I began to work on the rock where this beautiful cat was perched, in this part I had to make some shapes to give it a little rock aesthetics, so I did my best to give it that touch.

Después comencé a darle un poco de color a mi gato, para su pelaje use el color anaranjado y para algunas sombras el mismo color anaranjado, pero un poco más oscuros, para el resto del pelaje use el blanco, como por ejemplo sus patas, cola, pecho y boca, usando un color mucho más oscuro para su respectivo sombreado.

Luego comencé a trabajar en los ojos, quería hacerlo de color azul, para poder destacar más su belleza y use algunos píxeles de color blanco para poder darle mucho más brillo a sus ojos, al principio quería usar un tono mucho más oscuro que el anterior en el caso de su pelaje, para así poder crear un degradado, pero no entendía por qué no me convencía mucho ese color así que decidí dejarlo solo en 2 tipos de tonos en el anaranjado, uno claro y uno oscuro, en los otros dibujos que haga me centraré un poco más en estos detalles.

Por último comencé a trabajar en la roca de donde se encontraba posado este hermoso gato, en esta parte tenía que hacer unas formas para poder darle un poco de estética de roca, así que hice lo mejor que pude para poder darle ese toque.

Finally, I added some climbs on the back of the cat to highlight a little the environment where it is located, I had also valued some branches that are near the rock and in this way I could make my drawing of an orange colored cat.

Por último agregué algunas subes en la parte de atrás del gato para poder resaltar un poco el entorno donde este se encuentra, también había valorizado algunas ramas que se encuentran cerca de la roca y de esta forma pude realizar mi dibujo de un gato de color anaranjado.
