## **Quiet New Year's Eve**

Won't be doing much for New Year's Eve. Dad, Roy and I are having dinner and then watching TV. The likelihood that we will be up for Midnight is not very high.

Tomorrow, New Year's Day is Dad's Birthday. He'll be 92 and there will be a celebration for that. Nothing as big as years ago but there will be a few people over throughout the day. And there is a Packer Football Game on so anyone downstairs will be watching it. We are going to have an open house brunch. On Monday my sister will take my Dad back to Madison with her for the week. That will be a catch up from the slacking during the holidays week for me.

## **Buy Day 12/29**
Had to start early again this week. Doctor's appointment for Dad and running errands on Friday. 
Bought my LTC to convert to Hive on Thursday. 
Used Coinbase to buy the LTC.
But this time instead of using Blocktrades and the Swap feature on HivePay.io I tried a different way to get my Swap.Hive that was shared with me by @tydynrain in a comment he made on my post last week. 
Because it never hurts to have more than one way to complete a task.
@jongolson mentioned using the deposit feature another time when there wasn't enough liquidity on Hivepay.io. 
The difference was that when I deposited my $13.31 USD worth of LTC using Hive Engine I received Swap.LTC.
Received just over 49 Swap.Hive after trading the Swap.LTC in my Hive Engine Wallet. 
Total Swap.Hive to reinvest: 50.1969433 
I stuck with buying more HE-INDEX, CTP and LISTNERDS this week.

This was a pretty good year for me. I am grateful that I got that big boost last month and made it to Dolphin Status. 
Going to be adding Leo to my stacks this year and keep moving forward with Rising Star. I will flesh out some more details in my next posts.
