Steemit edit button is not working

Up until two or three days ago, I have had no problems with editing post in the steemit.com website. But today I am having problems. When I click edit button to edit a post nothing happens. The button color changes on hover but click doesn't take me to the editor. But if I refresh the page after clicking the edit button, the editor does appear. This is shown in the following animated gif image.  Expected behaviour: The edit button should normally take me to the editor to edit the post and update it. Actual behaviour: The edit button is not working the way it should. How to reproduce: 1. Write a post and go to the post page. 2. Click edit. 3. Refresh the page.
