Another day with sticky fingers from making collage. I'm finding it a good way to get going in the morning, it doesn't need much thought and the materials are just sitting there. It's also easy to let it flow and change direction as I'm making it or rather as it's emerging. I made it the other way up, but it looked a bit too much like a crucifix - so now it's an inverted crucifix... oh never mind.
We went for a walk by the river for the first time this year today. There's a lot of mud. And people do walk very slowly. Also, running with dogs, what's that about?
I'm noticing that I'm being much less vigilant about mask-wearing in public spaces and it feels like others are too. Perhaps we'll have another spike to make us all wake up, or perhaps it really is fading away. I know that we've learned a lot about how to handle a public health thing like this now. And home-testing really helps - I test a couple of times a week when I'm going to be spending prolonged time with a group, especially the older folk. I've not had a positive test yet and I haven't had any symptoms since the whole thing began (touch wood).
