His starting point is that digital distribution is all very well but as soon as you start trying to ship real goods especially across national borders you're going to run foul of some regulatory framework or other.  He argues that we need some sort of maps for regulatory space and against the passive approach which could end up with us in a world dominated by two natural monopolies - ie "Made in China, Distributed by Amazon".
