Warning: I'm not a philosopher. Ever taken the time to think about how small we actually are? This planet is enormous yet so tiny compared to other celestial bodies like the Sun for instance. The Sun's volume is 1 million times larger than the Earth's. Yet the Sun is still just another star like those you see in the night sky among billions of others in our galaxy, which is just another galaxy among trillions of others throughout the observable Universe. Which is probably rather small compared to the rest of it. Space is huge, however it is still getting bigger and bigger. Galaxies move away from each other at a constant rate as a result of space between those distances expanding. Isn't it ironic? Like it was absolutely possible to visit all those stars without this constant expansion taking place. Like we're not small enough already. We're part of a gigantic eternity composed of extremely tiny little things that can form enormous masses and gather vast amounts of energy if combined. The moral of the story is that cooperation can work wonders. People are unbelievably powerful creatures that can observe, study, realize and create. We're just specs on the Earth's surface, yet we've somehow managed to realize we actually reside on a round celestial body, and measure its mass and size. We have created megastructures and spaceships, particle accelerators and nuclear telescopes. We've figured out ways to communicate with each other instantly regardless of distance and found cures for deadly diseases. The keyword in all technological wonders mentioned above is cooperation. Just like carbon particles cooperate with each other in order to form this entire Universe. Particles are extremely small to be observed without the use of technology, yet they can form the biggest star if they decide to embrace each other. Humans as individuals would have never achieved such progress, but anything is possible when many of them unite. What's even more impressive is the fact that humanity achieved all this technological progress without ever accomplishing world peace. All breakthroughs and achievements are the result of cooperation between large groups of humans from specific nations; however those groups have never reached their true potential in terms of numbers so far. Numbers could be dramatically larger if humanity as a whole stood united. Research nowadays is based on corporations' greed and needs or governments competing with each other. As a result, information is being suppressed and therefore progress is slowed down because this generates more profit. Maybe understanding the Universe and finding a reasonable answer to everything is just a human need. Or maybe our civilization's progress is the product of humanity's never-ending hunger for domination and control. Whatever the case, little things make the world. Little particles combined create gigantic stars. Little beings cooperating create technological wonders. *Thank you for your attention!* *Follow me for more of the same!* ***Highest Regards*** *@lordneroo*
