**Happy day!** Due to the quarantine, my work rate had decreased until I entered the Hive Blog, I have organized my activities so as not to neglect household chores. I regularly work 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon on this platform. As you will see, it is 6 hours that I dedicate my time every day while I investigate, analyze, write and take the necessary images. I have practically made this a job, so during my daily activities I take an active break so that my muscles do not contract. According to my research, competitiveness, computerization and the introduction of new technologies have taken too high a price to achieve high levels of productivity and success in the market. Therefore, the employees of an organization undergo repetitive tasks and an increase in the work rate, which predisposes to the development of occupational diseases such as: high blood pressure, chronic respiratory diseases, diseases of the locomotor system, mental disorders and stress. Currently, there is an increasing increase in diseases of the locomotor system, especially RSI (repetitive stress injury) and WMSD (work-related musculoskeletal disorder). The RSI / WRMSD can generate different degrees of functional disability, being considered one of the most serious and frequent problems in the field of occupational health. These are diseases that affect the muscles, tendons, nerves, and ligaments that can cause permanent disability. That is why I saw it necessary to talk about occupational gymnastics, since it is part of the ergonomic process, it provides the practice of physical activities in the workplace voluntarily and collectively by employees during working hours, that is, it is a prevention program, whose objective is the promotion of workers' health. According to the literature, occupational gymnastics gives employees a better self-image, less pain and stress, better interpersonal relationships, greater willingness and motivation to work, higher productivity, lower incidence of occupational diseases, lower costs with medical expenses, reduction of the number of errors and failures. I present you some of the exercises that you can do at your workplace, whether in the office, in any field of work or at home. The latter as my current case. ## 1 Standing, with Semi-Bent knees, begin to move your head slowly up and down and left right, the same process applies to the shoulders.
## 2 Standing, bring one foot in front of the other, put your hands behind your back and stretch your arms as shown in the following image:
## 3 Bring the arms behind the head and taking each wrist, pull the forearm sequentially towards the opposite shoulder as shown in the image, this process applies to both sides.
## 4 Cross your arms with both elbows in front, pull your left elbow with your right hand, stretching your arm to the right. Repeat the process with the other arm. (Smiling is the best therapy) These simple exercises will keep you relaxed and fit to work in your specific area. The objective of implementing this occupational gymnastics program is to prevent illnesses caused by work, guarantee the well-being of workers and contribute effectively to productivity, acting positively towards the health of the worker. ***Thanks for reading my post, it will be until another next opportunity.***
