Hello everyone! I’m Lorentm, a passionate digital artist, and I’m thrilled to welcome you all to my art blog. Today, I’m incredibly excited to share with the amazing @holozing community a very special piece I created with so much love: a fan art of the adorable character Zingu, reimagined in an anime humanized style. Working on Zingu filled me with so much joy and warmth. This character, with their magical and icy aura, truly captured my heart from the very beginning. Zingu stands out with a vivid hairstyle that blends shades of deep blue with striking pink highlights, and a charming outfit perfect for the cold. I wanted to bring all that charm into a chibi-anime aesthetic while preserving the essence that makes Zingu so unique.

Hoy quiero compartir con la increíble comunidad de @holozing una obra muy especial que creé con mucho amor: un fan art del adorable personaje Zingu, reinterpretado en un estilo anime humanizado. Trabajar en Zingu me llenó de mucha alegría y calidez. Este personaje, con su aura mágica y helada, realmente capturó mi corazón desde el principio. Zingu destaca con un peinado vibrante que combina tonos de azul profundo con llamativos reflejos rosas, y un encantador atuendo perfecto para el frío. Quise transmitir todo ese encanto en una estética chibi-anime, preservando la esencia que hace a Zingu tan especial.

Zingu appears as an enchanting little figure wrapped in a fluffy, warm outfit, ready to explore icy worlds. Their hair is short and playful, colored in deep blue with lively pink highlights at the ends, giving a fresh and vibrant look. Adorning their forehead is a beautiful golden tiara, holding a bright blue crystal that symbolizes their connection to magical ice powers. The coat they wear is a rich navy blue with a soft white fur trim, accented by a lovely yellow bow at the collar. Their gloves and boots match perfectly, blending functionality and adorable style, making Zingu look like a tiny guardian of wintery lands.

>Zingu aparece como una pequeña figura encantadora envuelta en un traje esponjoso y cálido, lista para explorar mundos helados. Su cabello es corto y juguetón, teñido de un azul profundo con vivos reflejos rosas en las puntas, lo que le da un aspecto fresco y vibrante. Adornando su frente lleva una hermosa tiara dorada, que sostiene un brillante cristal azul, simbolizando su conexión con poderes mágicos de hielo. El abrigo que lleva puesto es de un azul marino intenso, con suaves bordes de peluche blanco, rematado con un lindo lazo amarillo en el cuello. Sus guantes y botas combinan a la perfección, fusionando funcionalidad con un estilo adorable, haciendo que Zingu parezca un pequeño guardián de tierras invernales.

## Process / Proceso

To start, I focused on the sketch. I wanted Zingu’s pose to radiate happiness and sweetness, so I drew a simple, standing pose with open arms and a big, cheerful smile. Capturing that chibi proportion, with a large head and small body, was key to emphasizing the cuteness I envisioned for this fan art.

>Para comenzar, me enfoqué en el boceto. Quería que la pose de Zingu irradiara felicidad y ternura, así que dibujé una postura sencilla, de pie, con los brazos abiertos y una gran sonrisa alegre. Capturar esa proporción chibi, con una cabeza grande y un cuerpo pequeño, fue clave para resaltar la ternura que imaginé para este fan art.

Once satisfied with the sketch, I moved on to the lineart. Using clean and dynamic lines, I carefully outlined every detail, from the locks of hair to the folds in the coat. I aimed for a soft, flowing style to match the character’s lively and magical essence.

>Una vez satisfecha con el boceto, pasé al delineado. Utilizando líneas limpias y dinámicas, delineé cuidadosamente cada detalle, desde los mechones de cabello hasta los pliegues del abrigo. Busqué un estilo suave y fluido que acompañara la esencia vivaz y mágica del personaje.

Next came the coloring stage. I chose a rich and vibrant palette, carefully blending cool tones to give life to Zingu’s icy theme. Special attention was given to the gradient of the hair and the crystal's shine, to make them stand out vividly against the more muted tones of the outfit.

>Luego llegó la etapa del coloreado. Elegí una paleta rica y vibrante, combinando cuidadosamente tonos fríos para dar vida al tema helado de Zingu. Presté especial atención al degradado del cabello y al brillo del cristal, para hacer que destacaran vivamente contra los tonos más sobrios del atuendo.

Adding shadows was a delightful step. I applied soft yet defined shadows, suggesting a cold, crystalline light source from above. This added volume and depth to the character, enhancing the 3D effect without losing the cheerful and light-hearted feel.

>Agregar sombras fue un paso encantador. Apliqué sombras suaves pero definidas, sugiriendo una fuente de luz fría y cristalina desde arriba. Esto añadió volumen y profundidad al personaje, realzando el efecto tridimensional sin perder la sensación alegre y ligera.

Then came the highlights. I placed glimmers of light on the hair, the crystal, and the fur trims to simulate the magical sparkle of a frosty world. These highlights added a lively touch, making Zingu seem almost ready to jump out of the screen.

>Luego vinieron los brillos. Coloqué destellos de luz en el cabello, el cristal y los bordes de peluche para simular el brillo mágico de un mundo helado. Estos brillos añadieron un toque animado, haciendo que Zingu pareciera casi listo para saltar fuera de la pantalla.

Finally, I worked on the background. I created a serene icy landscape with giant crystal-like ice structures under a soft twilight sky. The colors harmonize with Zingu’s palette, creating a dreamy atmosphere that frames the character perfectly.

>Finalmente, trabajé en el fondo. Creé un paisaje helado y sereno con enormes estructuras de hielo cristalino bajo un suave cielo crepuscular. Los colores armonizan con la paleta de Zingu, creando una atmósfera de ensueño que enmarca perfectamente al personaje.

Creating this fan art of Zingu was an incredibly rewarding experience. Every moment spent illustrating this charming character filled me with excitement and happiness.
