Greetings guys and welcome to this post. Today I bring you another creation of Disney characters, this time and to finish the thread of the "Hercules" feature film we will design Pegasus, the winged horse faithful friend of the main character, who accompanies him in every adventure and challenge he does. I love this character because he has a happy, loyal, faithful, kind, protective, and somewhat playful personality. Now we will explain step by step how I got the final result of the drawing. Without further ado, let's get started.

Hoy les traigo otra creación de personajes de Disney, esta vez y para finalizar el hilo del largometraje de “Hércules” diseñaremos a Pegaso, el caballo alado fiel amigo del protagonista, que le acompaña en cada aventura y desafío que este realiza, me encanta este personaje ya que tiene una personalidad alegre, leal, fiel, amable, protectora, y algo juguetona. Ahora pasaremos a explicar el paso a paso de como obtuve el resultado final del dibujo. Sin más que decir empecemos.

## Sketch / Boceto

We started the sketch of the Pegasus character, using geometrical figures and curved lines to achieve an approximation in the morphology of the horse, and placing some details, which will help us to better determine the general characteristics of the horse.

>Iniciamos el boceto del personaje de Pegaso, usamos figuras geométricas y líneas curvas para lograr una aproximación en la morfología del caballo, y colocando algunos detalles, que nos ayudara a determinar mejor las características generales del mismo.

## Outlined / Delineado

Now we move on to the refinement of the lines, here I make a clean drawing which will serve as a basis for applying the color of the next step. With the pencil brush I am modifying the pressure of the line, to obtain lines with different thickness. Here I separate by layers the lines of the wings, body and coat of Pegasus.

>Ahora pasamos al refinado de las líneas, acá realizo un dibujo limpio el cual me servirá como base para aplicar el color del siguiente paso. Con el pincel lápiz voy modificando la presión del trazo, para obtener líneas con diferente grosor. Acá separo por capas las líneas de las alas, cuerpo y pelaje de Pegaso.

## Colour / Color

As you know I use the marker brush for this purpose, but you could also use the filler tool, I use soft shades, a cream colour for the body, for the wings I use the same shade but I increase the brightness a little more and for the coat I use an electric blue colour, all separated by layers to facilitate the colouring.

>Como ya saben uso el pincel rotulador para tal fin, pero también podrían usar la herramienta de relleno, uso matices suaves, un color crema para el cuerpo, para las alas uso el mismo tono pero aumento un poco más el brillo y para el pelaje uso un color azul eléctrico, todo separado por capas para facilitar el coloreado.

## Shadows / Sombras

I proceed to take the color of the area where I am going to darken, under its brightness, I increase a little the saturation and with the help of the airbrush I apply these shades.

>Procedo a tomar el color de la zona donde voy a oscurecer, bajo su brillo, aumento un poco la saturación y con ayuda del pincel aerógrafo aplico dichas sombras.

## Lights / Luces
<br>

For the glows we apply the same technique we use for the shadows, we copy the base color to be illuminated, and modify it in the color palette, but this time we lower the saturation a little and increase the brightness, to finally apply it with the airbrush.

>Para los brillos aplicamos la misma técnica que usamos para las sombras, copiamos el color base a iluminar, y modificamos en la paleta de colores, pero esta vez bajamos un poco la saturación y aumentamos el brillo, para finalmente aplicarlo con el pincel aerógrafo.

## Background / Fondo
<br>

For the background I wanted to recreate a theme of a galaxy surrounded by some clouds, with the airbrush I randomly drew different shades of blue and violet, then painted some subtle clouds that would serve as a base for Pegasus. 

>Para el fondo quise recrear una temática de galaxia rodeado por algunas nubes, con el aerógrafo dibuje aleatoriamente diversas tonalidades de azul y violeta, luego pinte unas sutiles nubes que sirvieran como base para Pegaso.

## Details / Detalles

To bring the same tuning of the Galaxy type background we designed, in this step we accentuate the brightness in the Pegasus lines to achieve a glowing effect and draw some stars to accompany the character.

>Para llevar la misma sintonía del fondo tipo Galaxia que diseñamos, en este paso acentuamos el brillo en las líneas de Pegaso para lograr un efecto resplandeciente y dibujamos algunas estrellas que acompañen al personaje.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
* Android tablet.
* Capacitive pen (Stylus).
* Ibis Paint X program.
* Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
