As a seventh-semester Architecture student at the National Experimental University of Tachira, today I wanted to share with you one of the field trips I had, which was a city near the capital San Cristobal where I currently live. It is called Rubio - Municipio Junín, well known for its architectural conservation, it is also called the city of bridges, since it has a large number of them.
This is the Santa Barbara de Rubio Church. _(Our field trip was to study and admire its architecture)_
This church is recognized worldwide as one of the best built temples in recent years. Its architecture is a jewel, it is neo-Gothic style, it is considered one of the most beautiful religious architectural works of the Táchira state and Venezuela, and undoubtedly it is a pride for the Tachirenses.
This is another majestic view, from the town hall.
It is recommended to visit it in the morning hours when the sun's rays penetrate through all the beautiful stained glass windows, illuminating with beautiful colors in the total extension of the recognized architectural work.
Internal view of the Church.
To say goodbye to my dear friends of Steemit, I would like to encourage you to know the architectural heritage of your cities, as it is our legacy, it belongs to everyone, common, collective and our own, it has an important identity value and knowing and protecting it will make us better citizens. PD: I wanted to leave this phrase said by Michel Rojkind, so that they think and act. "_Architecture is one more component to produce relevant changes in society._"
_Photographs of my authorship, taken with a Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera._
###
Thanks for reading me! Happiness and health for all.
