 Sabathia said he’d be fine with moving to the bullpen after making what might be his final start as a Yankee at Yankee Stadium in a 3-2 loss to the Angels.

If the Yankees want Sabathia to shift to bullpen work or even try being an opener, he wants to do it first before the American League Division Series, which starts Oct. 4.

“Whatever they have in store,” Sabathia said. “If I have a new role, I definitely want to pitch in that. I’ll just have to wait and see.”
