The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Anthony Burgess published in 1962. The story takes place in the United Kingdom, in a dystopian future marked by violence and authoritarianism. Exploring timeless social and political issues, it reflects on topics such as juvenile delinquency, psychiatry, free will, and the moral corruption of authorities.
