Ustedes saben que estoy en proceso de terminar una de las sagas más largas que tengo pendientes, ya voy por el libro número tres, finalizándolo hace poco, que fue el libro donde me había quedado hace un montón de meses atrás, creo que hace como unos dos o tres años fue que estaba leyendo esta serie de libros y justamente me quedé por acá. Tuve que releer los primeros dos por encima para poder entender esto un poquito más y agarrarle la vuelta, así que ahora me siento un poquito mejor encaminada. En este libro, está titulado como el placer más oscuro. Pasamos otra vez a unos nuevos protagonistas, que es lo que haremos en todos los libros, básicamente les quiero hablar sobre mis impresiones y también qué tan bueno fue con respecto a los otros dos anteriores que ya había leído.

We move on again to some new protagonists, which is what we will do in all the books, basically I want to talk to you about my impressions and also how good it was compared to the other two previous ones that I had already read.

En este segundo libro tenemos la historia de Danika Ford y el Guerrero Reyes. Recordemos que Reyes es el guerrero que está poseído por el demonio del dolor. Una de las características de Reyes es que para poder liberar un poco del dolor, para poder cómo sobrellevar esto, de tener a ese demonio dentro de él, él tiene que auto inflingirse dolor cortadose, eso calma al demonio básicamente, ya que le produce como satisfacción o algo similar. Y como a todos los guerreros, a él le encantaría liberarse por completo de esa dependencia, a tener que estar cortándose, a sentir tanto dolor y eso. A Reyes lo conocemos en el primer libro, ya que tiene interacción con Maddox, ya que es uno de los encargados de hacer cumplir la maldición que tenía impuesta. En este primer libro también conoce a su interés amoroso que es Danika Ford. Ella es una humana. Una de sus características principales es que tiene premoniciones, a través de los sueños y, ya que es un artista también como que manifiesta esas premoniciones, su arte. Si mal no lo recuerdo, todas las municiones de Danika se cumplen y evidentemente eso es algo de valor. Y recordemos un poquito los acontecimientos de los libros anteriores, donde tica es secuestrada por los cazadores, escapando en el libro número dos. Ella huye hacia Los Angeles, cambiando su identidad. Aunque había sido detectado nuevamente por los cazadores, es ahí en donde Reyes va a salvarla.

> In this second book we have the story of Danika Ford and the Warrior Reyes. Let's remember that Reyes is the warrior who is possessed by the demon of pain. One of the characteristics of Reyes is that in order to be able to release some of the pain, to be able to cope with this, to have this demon inside him, he has to inflict pain on himself by cutting himself, that basically calms the demon, because it gives him like satisfaction or something similar. And like all warriors, he would love to be completely free of that dependence, to have to be cutting himself, to feel so much pain and so on. We meet Reyes in the first book, as he has interaction with Maddox, as he is one of the people in charge of enforcing the curse on him. In this first book he also meets his love interest who is Danika Ford. She is a human. One of her main characteristics is that she has premonitions, through dreams and, since he is an artist he also kind of manifests those premonitions, his art. If I remember correctly, all of Danika's ammunitions are fulfilled and obviously that is something of value. And let's remember a little bit the events of the previous books, where Tica is kidnapped by the hunters, escaping in book number two. She flees to Los Angeles, changing her identity. Although she had been detected again by the hunters, it is there where Reyes goes to save her.

La verdad es que contarles más, es influir muchísimo en los spoilers de esta historia, así que les voy a hablar como de mis impresiones, ya que tienen un poquito del contexto, de cómo están involucrados estos dos, cómo es que se conocen, y cómo son tan distintos ambos. Si bien Danika quería odiar muchísimo a Reyes por todo lo que había pasado, y a todos los señores del inframundo básicamente, ella no podía, ya que evidentemente era como la compañera o el alma gemela de Reyes y cuando hay una conexión así, la verdad es que los libros se leían bastante bonitos. Especialmente cuando estos toman la decisión de por fin estar juntos y siempre me pasa que en estos libros, cuando eso pasa, cuando los protagonistas por fin deciden estar juntos cuando ya están en un momento de paz, tiende a volverse todo un poco dramático o triste, en este libro es un poquito dramático y ya, lo cual te da un poquito de acción y la verdad es bastante bueno. Además en este libro sucede un montón de cosas que nos van a servir más adelante, ya que tengo entendido que se revelan como cositas que no nos vamos a dar cuenta hasta después. La verdad es que esto es un buen libro, siento que me gustan mucho más los primeros dos, pero es bastante bueno en línea generales y la verdad es que le haría una sólida 3.5 casi cuatro estrellas, siendo un poquito exigente. Espero que les haya encantado conocer mis opiniones al respecto de Este libro número tres, nos leemos pronto!

Especially when they make the decision to finally be together and it always happens to me that in these books, when that happens, when the main characters finally decide to be together when they are already in a moment of peace, it tends to get a little dramatic or sad, in this book it's a little bit dramatic and that's it, which gives you a little bit of action and it's actually pretty good. Also in this book a lot of things happen that are going to be useful later on, as I understand that they are revealed as little things that we are not going to realize until later. The truth is that this is a good book, I feel that I like the first two a lot more, but it's pretty good overall and the truth is that I would give it a solid 3.5 almost four stars, being a little bit demanding.
