Hi friends, lucky ali is here and most welcome to my another blog post in which we are going to talk about female domination in web 3 space. Web3 space is male-dominated, but do you know now this is changing, and females too are coming ahead in the space. We need both male and female domination in the crypto space. Crypto should have female founders, too. The web3 world is evolving, and there are female founders who are coming ahead and yes, they are contributing, but along with the contribution, they are helping in reshaping the web3 ecosystem.

## Female founders and the web3 space

Web3 offers more chances compared to a traditional environment because this space has decentralization with transparency and diversity, and these things are at the core. This is the reason female founders are more focused on the Web3 space and stepping up. 

Here we are going to talk about the "Own Your Data Foundation" company, and Brittany Kaiser is the founder of it.  Let's talk about the purpose of "own your data foundation" company so which is helping the people so that people take full control of their data, unlike Web 2.  Their privacy is most precious to them. Let's take one more example, Elizabeth Stark and who is behind the web3 firm Lightning Labs. You can search this name to understand how good work this company is doing in the space. This is helping to scale the transactions of Bitcoin.  So here, Brittany Kaiser, Elizabeth Stark, and more, these women are building movements in the space and tech too.

## Community-first is the aim

Here, the big difference we are seeing is the mindset of these women, and according to these women, the community is first. There is a project whose name is Shefi, and Maggie Love is the founder of this project. Instead of focusing on profit, this firm focuses more on empowerment and education of women so that they can onboard more women in DeFi. How web3 can be useful for wellness and beneficial socially.

The journey was tough for the women, and talking about the current time then they are still facing barriers such as low or no funding, less access to media, and biases. Do you know that the web3 startups in which females were leaders received only a few percent of total web3 funding? So this is called a barrier, and these barriers are not stopping them from thriving in the web3 space, which is a good thing.   

Do you know? that social media plays a big role, and you can get direct support from the people. Here I am talking about all the social media, including Web 2 like Twitter, and in Web 3, there is a hive and Inleo. In these social media, female founders can share their views and talk directly to the community, and this builds more trust.

So, yes, there are many barriers for female leaders in the Web3 space, but they are not just contributing but helping in reshaping the Web3 industry.
