Hi there, my name is Lucky Ali, and welcome back to another post. In today's post, we are going to discuss how high avoids the centralizing trap. Centralization is the biggest threat to the cryptocurrency space, and we have seen that almost all crypto projects start with the promise of decentralization, but time by time, it turns into a centralized project, and then a small group of developers or big investors start controlling it. However, the hive is different, and it is moving in a different way, which is why it makes the hive stand out among all these other projects. Hive has transparent governance and a culture where the community is first, and a balanced approach, so these are the things that help to make it a decentralised platform. ______________________________________ ## Decentralization in Hive's DNA ______________________________________ Hive was born from the Steem blockchain in 2020 community was the reason for Hive's birth. Actually, Tron Foundation took over on the Steem blockchain, and the community answered with the fork, and that fork is Hive. In this fork, the whole community was involved, but especially the block producers and developers played a major role. So decentralization was the reason for Hive's birth; that is why Hive is going on a decentralized path, because the community knows what the consequences of centralization are; they have seen this disaster in the past when they were on Steem. The power becomes too central, then what happens, the community knows very well that is why decentralization is in the DNA of the hive. ______________________________________ ## Power in the Hands of the Community ______________________________________ Hive has created such a system where the community has power. Hive has a dPos, which means delegated proof of Stake, and this is important to secure the network, and block producers validate blocks, but these block producers are chosen by the community. Also, Hive has a competitive block producer system, which is the reason that it is preventing small groups from dominating in Hive. It does not have a CEO; the community is the CEO. There is no small group of people handling the situations in Hive, and there is no centralization. Also, I want to talk about DHF, which is a decentralized hive fund that also depends on the token holders, so if you have a good idea, then you can submit a proposal, and the community decides that it is proposal gets funded or not. ______________________________________ ## Hive doesn’t just say it’s decentralized — it acts decentralized ______________________________________ Hive is different than other blogging and social media platforms because it has a censorship resistance and independence. Hive has an on-chain content storage system, so no one can delete it. You are the owner of your content, and you are the owner of your crypto. Also, you are free to share content, and there are multiple front ends, like Ecency, Peaked, and others, so you can see that not a single front end is dominating. We have seen that many crypto projects promise decentralisation, but when we see it from inside, the reality is different. Hive does not just talk about decentralisation; it lives in decentralization, and also acts decentralized. Do you know? That tokenomics and inflation are also managed by community unanimity. ______________________________________ ## Concluding ______________________________________ So, decentralization is not just a marketing or promotion slogan for Hive, but it is real. We have to agree, Centralization is a silent killer in the blockchain & Cryptocurrency Space, which is why we should not support centralization and focus more on decentralization. Though we have seen the fights in hive, that any random whale downvote the content so as I said, that is the decentralization and no one can control anyone which means if any person is downvoting you then we cannot stop the particular person because it is not the hand of a centralised authority and that person is also the part of the community. So you can say, this is the disadvantage or issue of decentralization. Share your viewpoints in the comment section. Have a nice day, thank you. ______________________________________ *Image sources 1 2 3 4* ______________________________________ #
○_________________○___________________○
|👇||| |-|-|-| |||Hi I am **lucky ali** from gujarat, india.
