Where Are The BEES? I Need Them To Pollinate My Cucumber.
Have you ever planted something but it didn't produce anything?
I bet I am not the only one who got this funny thing. And I'm assuming my cucumber plants aren't being pollinated by pollinators.

*The only bee working hard pollinating my cucumber plant, I don't see anything yet so far.*

I've been collecting my scarps from my own refrigerator and turn it into another healthy produce by regrowing them in the fastest way.
It was an experiment but turn out I really love doing it, If I need some fresh herbs I just trim some in the backyard. And that is pretty cool.

It was months ago, I set some cucumber seeds aside when I cut to make salad. So, I wrapped it in dump paper towels and put inside ziploc bag to germinate, it took only few days to sprout.
I plant it in small containers with dirt in it and kept it indoor for almost two weeks to stabilize the roots before I plant outdoor.

They grow quite big, got plenty of flowers.
Weirdly though, the flowers are keep getting dry without producing any cucumber.

I tried to do manually pollinate them by using Qtip but it didn't seem to help, I think I did it wrong or maybe those flowers are running out some pollen already. I am not really sure.

I keep asking myself some questions, what happen if bees are extinct? Can we live without them?
I guess we all know the answer, pollination is important or otherwise we will have food chain problems.

Well, it's an interesting experience. A bit disappointed but definite green with yellow flowers are beautiful to look and It was effortless to grow.
I'm willing to try another seeding. I'm doing cherry and mango this time, my next plan is vine seeds to fill up my backyard.

Stay safe everyone.
