Sin embargo, tuve la suerte de que Epic Games lo estuviera regalando en su aplicación para teléfonos móviles, así que decidí reclamarlo y darle una oportunidad. Lo que encontré fue una experiencia única que vale la pena compartir. Primero, el juego es conocido por combinar múltiples estilos. En la descripción menciona que mezcla elementos 2D y 3D, juegos de disparos de aventura y combates, entre otras cosas. A primera vista, no entendí muy bien cómo todos estos estilos se integraban, incluso las imágenes del juego mostraban una variedad visual muy diversa. Fue esta peculiaridad la que logró captar mi atención, así que me aventuré a probarlo. At first glance, I didn't quite understand how all these styles were integrated, even the game's screenshots showed a very diverse visual variety. Going in, the first thing I found was a classic 2D style that reminded me of retro dungeon crawlers, something similar to the old Pokémon that many of us enjoyed in our childhood. Pasé de gráficos definidos y encantadoramente retro a un estilo menos pulido en términos de píxeles. Al principio fue un poco desconcertante, pero también intrigante. Fue en ese momento que entendí la esencia de Evoland 2: es un juego que no solo varía en estilos visuales, sino también en las mecánicas de juego. Esta transformación inesperada terminó siendo uno de los puntos más destacados de mi experiencia. Solo he podido dedicarle unos 30 minutos hasta ahora, pero en ese tiempo experimenté dos estilos completamente diferentes que, lejos de sentirse desconectados, añadieron un factor sorpresa que mejoró la diversión. Este cambio de estilo incluso me hizo pensar en una ruptura de la cuarta pared en el diseño del juego, una característica que rara vez se ve y que realmente me atrapó.
