<center>**the piercing**</center>

<center>a sword pierced through my being,
and now i'm seeing the effects that it caused.
i have lost many things that tend to cost
more than people can afford to lose,
but choosing was not an option;
only losing was what my arsenal consisted of,
and now i have resisted enough to write a theses
with these pieces of my self-induced internal depression.
the only oppression i know is my obsession
with a lack of agression, and thankfully the progression
of this confinement is ending.
