A little support can go a very long way in someones life. This is my first Steemit post and I would like to dedicate it to Michael Page, the only reason why I took an interest to Steemit. I've been supporting Michael throughout his whole Mixed Martial Arts career being a big MMA fan. As you may know Michael also known as MVP is a 10x freestyle kickboxing world champion, he's competed all around the world. Only being a MMA fan I had no clue to who Michael Page was until he made his MMA debut. After seeing his debut go viral i instantly searched him up on Google and discovered all of his credentials, sport karate, hmm ok. what the hell is points fighting? Fight after fight he was blowing my mind. I was amazed I had seriously seen nothing like it before. Yet the internet being the internet, all I was seeing was disrespectful comments and low support. because I loved what I was seeing I decided to make an Instagram fan page. best known for the Paul Daley memes After a couple of months went by me and Michael got in contact. Appreciating what I had done for him he gave me one of the coolest items I own to date. I continued supporting. Promoting fights / keeping his fans up to date. even making highlight reel videos. https://youtu.be/-ctSrzqqbzs Mike must of thought I was an absolute geezer because he invited me out Paintballing, I went home looking like a swollen mouldy banana, I got fucked up ๐ But FYI there was nothing left of the other team. Im pretty sure they're still laying there somewhere. I don't think no one has checked on them. Hope they're alright. [Gold Team] Equally as greatful as eachother. He's done greater things than I have, he's opened the door for cool experiences for me. Being a part of his boxing journey and meeting new people and meeting the likes of David Haye was one. I'm honoured to be apart of the boxing debut. And we all know how that went ๐ Its mad to think, from a fan to a friend to taking time out to personally train me https://youtu.be/75cRSUbg2kU It goes to show.. Like I said in my opening. A little support can go a very long way in someones life. Thankyou Michael for being a friend, a role model, and the future of combat. You will forever have my support.
