<div class="text-justify">Web3 es todo un universo de posibilidades, lleno de proyectos, ideas, puntos de vista, aciertos, errores y pare de contar. Cada vez son más las personas que se suman a este ecosistema y a su vez muchos otros se quedan en el camino, tomando la decisión de no seguir o desapareciendo sin dejar rastro. Llegué a web3 hace poco más de dos años y medio, sin conocer sobre criptomonedas, blockchain, ni nada de esas cosas que he aprendido en el camino y que siendo sincera, me ha costado un poco comprender, pues al no estar familiarizada con nada de esto, tuve que empaparme de mucha información abrumadora. Posteriormente aprendí a depurar, me instruí en los temas que me gustaban e incluso acompañé a nuevas personas a dar sus primeros pasos dentro del ecosistema.

Este universo (como me gusta llamarle), me ha dejado muchos aprendizajes en el camino, algunos gracias a buenas experiencias y otros a costa de muy agrios momentos. Ayer escuchaba un space de [Karo](https://twitter.com/0xKaroShow), quien a mi parecer es una de las mejores representantes femeninas de web3 a nivel latinoamericano, por la visión que tiene y por la comunidad que ha construido. Su space titulado ["¡Dejemos de romantizar la web3!"](https://twitter.com/0xKaroShow/status/1788728076383191498), estuvo bastante interesante y reflexionar sobre todo lo que nos comentaba ha sido lo que me llevó a escribir estas líneas. Los seres humanos somos imperfectos por naturaleza; me gusta pensar que somos más quienes decidimos hacer el bien, trabajar para construir cosas positivas que puedan trascender y beneficiar a otros, sin embargo, en este entorno donde se mueve muchísimo dinero hay quienes eligen utilizar sus conocimientos y habilidades para lucrarse a costa de los demás o para infligir   daño a quienes por alguna u otra razón, no cuentan con la educación necesaria para moverse y defenderse en este mar de "tiburones" hambrientos.

Yesterday I was listening to a space by Karo, who in my opinion is one of the best female representatives of web3 in Latin America, for the vision she has and for the community she has built. Her space entitled “Let's stop romanticizing web3!”, was quite interesting and reflecting on everything she told us was what led me to write these lines. Human beings are imperfect by nature; I like to think that there are more of us who decide to do good, to work to build positive things that can transcend and benefit others, however, in this environment where a lot of money moves there are those who choose to use their knowledge and skills to profit at the expense of others or to inflict harm to those who for some reason or another, do not have the necessary education to move and defend themselves in this sea of hungry “sharks”.

El mundo está sediento de educación, las personas quieren aprender sobre las nuevas tecnologías, lamentablemente muchos de los que están en esa búsqueda llegan a puertas equivocadas, donde reciben información errónea o donde pierden todo su dinero. Creo que en parte, la adopción masiva está en manos de quienes estamos haciendo las cosas bien, pues somos los únicos que podemos informar desde nuestro impacto positivo, tomando en cuenta que la desinformación y malas prácticas siempre van a existir, están en web2, en web3, en la vida real y a donde quiera que mires, depende de nosotros permitir que el enfoque del mundo hacia nuestro ecosistema se centre en lo negativo o en lo positivo.

Durante estos últimos años me ha tocado ver como proyectos que se mostraban interesantes o entretenidos han resultado ser una estafa, he visto CEOs robándose todos los fondos de un proyecto que tenía potencial y que incluso distintas personalidades influyentes publicitaban, veo a diario como gente que no tiene ni la más mínima idea de lo que es blockchain obtienen cientos de miles de dólares en apoyo para un proyecto de "onboarding" que no aporta nada al ecosistema y a quienes alzan su voz en contra los silencian, veo gente que infla presupuestos a montos exorbitantes, veo a quienes se venden en las redes sociales como buenas personas cuando la realidad es todo lo contrario. Como dijo Karo en su space, no metamos las manos al fuego por nadie, y menos por alguien que conocemos solo desde la virtualidad.

Pareciera que lo negativo siempre da más de que hablar, pero como les dije anteriormente, depende de nosotros hacer resaltar lo positivo; como los proyectos que aportan soluciones, aquellos que se enfocan en educar y ayudar a los que vienen llegando tras nosotros, el apoyo masivo de la comunidad cuando alguno de nosotros lo necesita por algún tema de salud o situación desfavorable, las amistades que traspasan la pantalla para convertirse en familia IRL y pare de contar. Hace unos días tuve este pensamiento: Llegar a web3 abre nuestra mente al punto en el que aunque queramos ignorar lo que ahora sabemos y volver a la vida y pensamiento que teníamos antes, no podemos, hemos elegido la píldora roja de matrix y no hay vuelta atrás.
