Pada postingan kali ini saya akan menulis tentang fenomena yang lagi hangat-hangatnya di bicarakan di forum-forum online khususnya forum yang membahas seputaran teknologi lebih spesifiknya laptop.

Setelah sebelumnya media forum teknologi Indonesia dihebohkan dengan di tangkapnya seorang hacker asal Sleman yang menggunakan ransomware untuk memeras korban hingga mengumpulkan uang puluhan milyar dari aksinya tersebut.

Sebelum membahas lebih jauh tentang Ransomware, apasih Ransomware itu, seberapa berbahayakah ransomware tersebut. Ransomware adalah sebuah program atau software jahat yang digunakan oleh hacker untuk mengkunci data korban untuk kemudian memeras korban untuk membayar sejumlah uang agar data tersebut bisa selamat. Ransomware bukan fenomena baru di dunia maya. Sebelumnya sudah dunia pernah di hebohkan dengan kehadiran Ransomware Wanna Cry yang menyerang ratusan ribu komputer di seluruh dunia.

Pada saat artikel ini saya tulis, Indonesia merupakan negara dengan pengguna software bajakan paling tinggu di dunia ([okezone](https://techno.okezone.com/read/2019/03/19/207/2031998/tingkat-penggunaan-software-bajakan-di-indonesia-tertinggi-di-dunia)). Banyak website-website yang secara bebas menyebarluaskan software bajakan, yang paling umum digunakan secara bajakan adalah Windows. Sehingga banyak pelaku mengambil kesempatan untuk menyelipkan iklan pada software dengan iming-iming crack lisensi.

Banyak yang sudah menjadi korban, seperti yang belakangan ini rame di keluhkan di forum-forum teknologi tentang Ransomeware 'derp', di mana komputer yang telah terjangkit ransomeware tersebut, semua file akan di enkripsi dan hanya dapat di tebus dengan membayar sejumlah uang. Dan ransomware tersebut untuk saat ini belum ada solusi untuk bisa mengambil data tersebut kembali secara utuh.

Sebenarnya saya disini seperti berat menyebut korban kepada mereka yang komputernya terinfeksi ransomeware, karena kebanyakan dari mereka karena keteledoran nya sendiri dengan sembarang mengunduh dan tidak menghargai developer pembuat software yang dibajak, sepertinya ini lebih cocok di sebut karma, karena ada hak yang harusnya mengalir ke rekening si developer untuk menghargai waktu mereka yang telah bersusah payah membuat software tersebut.

Nah, semoga dengan postingan ini dapat menjadi pembelajaran kepada kita semua agar lebih hati-hati dan bijak dalam menggunakan Internet, dan pesan saya jangan gunakan software bajakan untuk menghindari ransomware tersebut. Untuk postingan selanjutnya inshaallah saya akan membuat postingan tentang cara agar data kita aman walaupun terkena ransomware.
