# <center>We're having a massive storm in Nova Scotia...</center> <center>A storm surge warning, and a snowfall warning, but right now it's raining and windy. Winds were supposed to reach 100 km/hour, but it looks like that warning is gone now, thank goodness! I'm writing this post hastily to try and beat the power outage. We have a bunch of water stored up unlike last time, and the bathtub is full too, so we can use that water to flush our toilet with if we have to.</center>  <center>[Source](https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/alerts/high-alert/nova-scotia/hacketts-cove) <center>@Hendrix22 is already on his way home for work, and school was cancelled for the boys for the rest of the week. So, they were back to school from Christmas holidays for exactly 1 day. HAHAA!! I love NS winters!! The kids are always home most of February, looks like we're starting early this year!</center>  <center>@EddieBowes trying to get away from Mom's camera...</center>  <center>Kiedis and Stryder a little less shy...kind of...Stryder has a LOTR calendar over his face.</center>  # <center>Yesterday</center>  <center>The morning ice was shining like diamonds...</center> ## <center>I heard a knock on my door...</center>  <center>It was this gentleman. He stopped by to ask if he could go around and collect chicken feathers to use for his arrows that he makes. He says chicken are the best, he tried crow feathers and they didn't work well. So I took a couple creepy photos of him from inside the house.</center>   <center>The chickens wondering what the heck was going on with that dude taking all of their feathers...</center>  # <center>Today...</center>  <center>Puddle Barometer at 12:00 pm</center>  <center>Puddle Barometer at 1:00 pm. It's pouring out! And all of this rain is going to freeze and then the heavy snow will start falling.
