# Just roll with it and make do! That’s it, **that’s the lesson**. and you can close your browser. ## Or you can also read my reflections on it below.
Take it from someone who tried countless hacks, read countless books on said topics, experimented with odd sleeping hours and tried every-fad- hip self improvement tips/hacks/ things you can think of. You can say, I’ve been there and done that and the only thing that finally clicks to me is make do. Life is imperfect and now, I realized what Nike said on their tagline makes even more sense, Just Do It. There’s no other way to get things done other than Just Do It. You can use techniques like pomodoro, writing it all down, or a lot more technical ways but if you’re like me, you’re going to exhaust yourself and end up not doing it. I get fairly obsessed with perfection and obviously, it didn’t do well. I get frustrated when a slight imperfection bothers me. But life is full of it and when I was traveling, these challenges including unpredictability became a lot more apparent and though I tried so very hard to keep it all together the same way I did, they just didn’t work. In my era of discovering myself I used to also love to mimic how successful people's routines were . I was trying every-hip self improvement techniques that people tried too. Not all of them work for my life but some of the things such as waking up very early fits me. The perfect time to wake up for me is around 2-3 AM and since I got back from my trip, I’ve been sleeping around 5 PM to 2 AM. I feel at best and beastly when I wake up around these time. It may sound crazy but it's just what works for me. My morning routine is also way simplified than before. I suppose, my last wandering taught me that what matter now is surviving in life, so I am mostly just checking what I have to do right away and that’s about it. And I was too obsessed about having a healthier routine and such. And like many others, I ended up complicating everything and obviously, nothing was done. ### There are so many time-based techniques to maximize time...... but now, I am more lax about it. Instead of being too obsessed about it, I ended up just letting the task finish and it doesn’t matter if it takes more than 2 hours which is pretty rare but I’d be okay if it doesn’t exactly finish at its exact time. It won’t ruin my day. I just do what I have to get done and that’s about it. After all, I am pretty efficient and fast. These days, I also end up walking everyday around 4-5 to and everywhere as when I was in BKK, I was used to walking miles away and somehow, without complicating everything, it became a routine. I just walk whenever I can, move more and work out at home. I still swim when I can but mostly just do home workout these days. In the past, I was too obsessed with the steps on how to have the correct way of working out. Somehow, the good thing is, I ended up losing a lot more than when I was complicating my workout routine just so I can be aesthetically ultra productive. Last but not least, I realized that I am my own self with my own ways of operating my life. I don’t have to fit in, trying to be somebody I am not and even if it means waking up at 2 AM and all I eat was coffee, so be it. And even if my productivity gear isn’t as aesthetic as others, so be it. These are what works for me to achieve what I want in life. In retrospect, it took a while for me to be comfortable with everything and I am still in the process of unlearning what I’ve learned all these years. But in my own conclusion when it comes to productivity, just do what works **and maybe just maybe you’d set a new standard for other people on how to become successful.** As there’s one thing I learned too that people have quite a strange habit of themselves when it comes to productivity.

Don't hesitate to upvote for more content like this !
