Crypto-thoughts 5 - how to get your affiliate codes used
My idea is to create a list of affiliate/promo codes for Genesis Mining and Hashing 24 and possibly others in the future.
This list is maintained on a website, and to get your code on the list you need to use two codes from that list.
That way you can be sure that your code -once on the list- will be used.

The idea is simple, but hasn't been built yet because I do not know how to verify that a code has been used and by who.

__Verification__
The first and relatively simple but partial solution is to ask people to use your (the website owner) code first for a minimum upgrade and then use a code from the list for however much you want to upgrade. This way the website owner gets many small upgrades while the people on the list get fewer but larger upgrades. The verification problem is of course only partially solved because you do not know whether a second upgrade was done.
Some youtubers already do something similar, like for example John Crothers (@Cromedome, here at Steemit).
A more complicated solution is to request those on the list to confirm upgrades, and if they fail to do so remove them from the list.

__Account__
This would require those who are on the list to have some sort of login account. So the system would work something like this:
- you create an account on the website.
- you request 2 upgrade codes and use them to activate your account.
- the users whose codes you used will need to acknowledge (or deny) that their code has been used.
- from this moment your code will be eligible for people who request an upgrade code.
- once your account is activated you need to login every x days to confirm (or deny) upgrades.
- the website keeps track of which codes have been used and when someone requests a code the least recently used code will be selected
- every time you upgrade you get a code from the website, so it does not stop with the initial 2 upgrades.

__Get it done__
I have looked at Google-blogger and Steemit if it is possible to create dynamic content, but I think it is not. So to get this done, you'll need a server with a fixed IP, concoct some PHP and MySQL stuff, and register a catchy domain name.
And of course promote it.

Anyone interested in setting this up? You can have my idea for free, just upvote this post.
Not interested? then just resteem until someone will pick it up.
Oh,.... and erhm, my GM affiliate code is sVgRJP.... ;)
