Months ago, ever since one of the guys from #HiveGaming mentioned that **Hades 2** was available in early access, I was instantly hooked. The wait wasn’t easy—the first game had left me on such a high, so energized, that I immediately knew I wanted to return to that mythological universe full of frantic combat and immersive storytelling. But between the hype and the technical reality of not having a device powerful enough to play it comfortably, time just kept passing—until now.

No fue una espera fácil, la primera entrega me había dejado tan arriba, tan energizado, que supe enseguida que quería volver a ese universo mitológico lleno de combate frenético y narrativa envolvente. Pero entre el hype y la realidad técnica de no tener un dispositivo que me permitiera jugarlo con comodidad, el tiempo fue pasando, hasta ahora.

The joy I felt when I finally got my new device was so overwhelming, I could hardly contain it. The very first thing I did was look for the game—no hesitation. Downloaded, installed, launched, haha. Jumping into **Hades 2** for the first time felt like returning to a familiar place, but one that still managed to surprise me. The aesthetics, as always with Supergiant Games, are simply **beautiful**. Those vibrant colors, the smooth animations, the visual details that make every corner of the Underworld feel alive (or dead, better said 😂😂😂), hooked me from the very first second.

Lo primero que hice fue buscar el juego, sin pensarlo dos veces descargado, instalado, abierto jjj . Entrar por primera vez a **Hades 2** fue como volver a un sitio familiar pero no por eso menos sorprendente. La estética como siempre con Supergiant Games, es simplemente **hermosa**. Esos colores vibrantes, la animación fluida, los detalles visuales que hacen que cada rincón del Inframundo se sienta vivo (o muerto mejor dicho) 😂😂😂, me atraparon desde el primer  segundo.

This time, instead of Zagreus, we follow Melinoë—and even though I’ve only done a few runs so far, I can already tell this isn’t just a simple copy of the original. Sure, there are plenty of familiar mechanics: the gods, their boons, the room-to-room combat. But there’s a different atmosphere to it—darker, and perhaps more ambitious. The animations for the boons are a visual treat; sometimes, I find myself picking one not for what it offers, but just to see how it looks on screen. I know it’s not the most strategic move, but honestly, the game is so well crafted that even the visually "useless" stuff feels like a reward.

Sí, hay muchas mecánicas familiares, los dioses, sus bendiciones, los combates en salas progresivas. Pero hay un aire diferente más oscuro y quizás más ambicioso. Las animaciones de las bendiciones son un deleite visual, a veces, incluso, me encuentro aceptando una u otra no tanto por lo que ofrecen sino porque quiero ver qué hacen visualmente en pantalla, sé que no es lo más estratégico, pero qué decir el juego está tan bien hecho que hasta lo estéticamente inútil se siente como un premio.

And speaking of mechanics—this game is packed with new stuff. From gathering and alchemy systems to rituals, spells, and other layers I still don’t fully understand, it’s already got me mentally jotting down what I need to explore next. It’s exactly what you hope for in a sequel: a bigger universe, with more options, more risks, and more rewards. Sometimes it feels like there’s so much to do it could be overwhelming, but the game has this systematic quality where everything unfolds in due time. It’s like it trusts the player to learn at their own pace—and I absolutely love that.


>Y hablando de mecánicas, qué montón de cosas nuevas tiene este juego. Desde los sistemas de recolección y alquimia, hasta los rituales, los hechizos y otras capas que todavía no termino de comprender del todo, pero que ya me tienen anotando mentalmente qué investigar después. Es exactamente lo que esperas de una secuela un universo más grande, con más opciones, más riesgos y más recompensas. A veces siento que hay tanto por hacer que podría abrumar, pero el juego tiene esa cualidad sistemática que hace que todo se vaya revelando a su tiempo. Es como si confiara en que el jugador va a aprender a su ritmo, y eso me encanta.

I know I’m barely scratching the surface—I’ve got plenty of runs ahead, countless attempts, many defeats, and more than one unexpected victory waiting for me. But what matters is that **I’m in**, I’ve returned to the Underworld. And as a true child of darkness, I plan to stay for a good while. For now, I’ll keep exploring bit by bit, taking in every detail, every voice, every discovery.


>Sé que apenas estoy rascando la superficie, me faltan muchas runs, muchos intentos, muchas derrotas y más de una victoria inesperada. Pero lo importante es que **ya estoy dentro**, ya regresé al Inframundo. Y como buen hijo de la oscuridad pienso quedarme un buen rato. Por ahora seguiré explorando poco a poco, absorbiendo cada detalle, cada voz, cada descubrimiento.
