Hello Steemers!

Here is my entry for this week of @sirsensei's #drawitbetter contest. The topic, Horse Portrait.

I have never really drawn a Horse seriously so this is a first for me. Once I got my initial rough frame down I decided to add character to the horse by giving him a mouthful of hay. I then proceeded to outline, colour, texture and shade in my usual style. This was drawn on Krita, using my Wacom Intuos Art 4 pen & touch graphics tablet.

Below is a gif-set of my process,

I'm happy with this one. Being the first horse I have seriously drawn, it was difficult in the beginning to get the shape looking right. But in the end I feel like I got there! What do you think?

Have an awesome weekend everyone!
