Storm's Storm or Storm's Stork (Ciconia stormi), became one of the living water birds in Indonesia. Storm Storm bird from the family Ciconiidae up to 80 cm in size is one of Indonesia's rare birds. Popolation Stork Storks around the world are estimated to lag less than 500. Naturally then the IUCN Red List labeled Storm Stork birds as Endangered species (endangered).

The Latin name of the animal of the Ciconiidae family is Ciconia stormi (Blasius, 1896). In English known as Storm's Stork. While the common name in Indonesia is Storm Stork. Still closely related to the bird Sandang-lawe or the Black Stork (Ciconia episcopus).

Storm Storm or Storm's Stork is large. The body length reaches between 75-91 cm. The fur is dominated by black and white. Storm Stork is a native bird of Indonesia although not an endemic bird of Indonesia. This bird has a distribution area covering Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Myanmar, and Thailand. In Indonesia can be found on the island of Sumatra and Kalimantan. Its habitats are wetland areas such as swamps, swamp forests, peat swamps, and around river basins in lowland areas.
