Do not listen to nay-sayers. Oftentimes people do not start something because they have been told a million and one “failure” stories about that idea. They lacked the zeal or morale to start because of the opinions of people around. “Do not write this book, it might not even sell!”, “This your idea sef, it might not even work” and so many negativities tend to kill one’s drive and passion.Don't listen to friends who discourage you.

Have a vision. Have a reason to get out of bed in the morning; something pushing you hard. Redefine your purpose everyday and do something today that adds to the fulfillment of your set goals and plans.

Your brand is a part of you. Reputation in business does matter. There is need for integrity in business because it can make or mar you.

Have high regard and respect for people. Be empathic to the plight of others, ensure that anyone that comes in contact with you leaves you in a better mood than they came.

Be careful of partnerships you make: Good partnerships formed can break existing protocol for your success.

Constantly strive to improve yourself. Let no one deceive you, the world is a highly competitive global village and waits for no one.

Be patient: it does pay in no small measure. Adversity is an opportunity for future expansion. When you face adversities in business, see them as opportunities and not failures. Do not give up at the first sign of difficulty, do not walk away but learn from it and spur on.
