<center></center> <center>(Cover designed by me in canva editor)</center> >Portada diseñada por mi en el editor de Canva <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>Hello my beautiful coffee loving people, all of us who are part of this community know how important coffee is for our lives, some drink it to take advantage of its energy, others, like me, simply for its delicious flavor, for some it means get-togethers with friends and family, for others an exquisite company for rainy days, However, when I sit down in front of the computer to write any story, coffee becomes a crucial element that in a certain way clears my mind and helps me to unblock ideas. It has always accompanied me throughout my life, but I think its presence has become more intense since I became a writer, about 20 years ago, and how could it be otherwise became an inseparable companion throughout the process of my first novel, El Reloj Maldito de Güigüe. </p></div> <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>The connection between me and coffee was so strong that almost without realizing it, I included it in one of the scenes of my novel, in which some characters are chatting while relaxing and tasting this delicious beverage and one of them talks to the other about the different varieties of coffee preparation that exist in his country. And it is that on many occasions when I had some kind of block, the famous writer's block, my mother would come into my room with a tray on which she would bring something delicious, some dessert and this delicious drink as a snack, one of my favorites are the torrijas with vanilla latte.</p></div> <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>And of course (although it cannot be seen in the photographs) coffee was also present in the beautiful gathering at the presentation of my book in digital format. And the fact is that drinking coffee in the company of friends and family is a deeply rooted custom in my country, we like to entertain guests with its delicious flavor and in fact we drink it regardless of the weather, even when the heat is pressing, although obviously we appreciate it more on rainy days. For us coffee is synonymous with union, and with writers there has always been a double connection because we are also united by a feeling of complicity, it is a balm that dissipates any mental blockage, it is a delicious nectar that invites us to relax, a sweet momentary pleasure that helps us to continue the day with more energy. </p></div> <center></center> <center></center> <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>What does coffee mean to you? Siempre me ha acompañado, a lo largo de toda mi vida, pero creo que su presencia se ha vuelto más intensa desde que soy escritora, hace como 20 años, y como no podía ser de otra manera se volvió un compañero inseparable a lo largo de todo el proceso de mi primera novela, El Reloj Maldito de Güigüe</p></div> <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>Fue tanta la conexión que había entre el café y yo que casi sin darme cuenta lo incluí en una de las escenas de mi novela, en la cual algunos personajes departen mientras se relajan y degustan esta deliciosa bebida y uno de ellos le habla al otro sobre las distintas variedades de preparación de café que existen en su país. Y es que en muchas ocasiones en que yo tenía cierto bloqueo, el famoso bloqueo del escritor, mi mamá entraba a mi habitación con una bandeja sobre la cual traía algo delicioso, algún postre y esta deliciosa bebida como merienda, una de mis favoritas son las torrijas con Latte vainilla.</p></div> <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>Y desde luego (a pesar de que no se puede apreciar en las fotografías) el café también estuvo presente en la hermosa tertulia de la presentación de mi libro en formato digital. Y es que beber café en compañía de amigos y familiares es una costumbre muy arraigada en mi país, nos gusta agasajar invitados con su delicioso sabor y de hecho lo bebemos sin importar el clima, incluso cuando el calor apremia, aunque obviamente que lo apreciamos más en días lluviosos. Para nosotros el café es sinónimo de unión, y con los escritores siempre ha habido una doble conexión porque también nos une un sentimiento de complicidad, es un bálsamo que disipa cualquier bloqueo mental, es un néctar delicioso que nos invita a la relajación, un dulce placer momentáneo que nos ayuda a continuar la jornada con más energía.</p></div> <center></center> <center></center> <center></center> <div class=text-justify> <p>Y para ti ¿Qué significa el café?
