This led to thoughts of the inevitability of death, and the realization that, ultimately, there’s no reason for anyone to be afraid of dying. </p> <p>As Dharma stated so pointedly, neither the sun, the wind, the rain, or even the season are afraid of passing into oblivion. In the same way, neither should <i>we</i> fear death. </p> <h3><strong>Death and Eternal Love</strong></h3> <p>Some listeners mistakenly assumed that the lyrics condoned suicide.
