<b>H</b>ello Steemit people,

Last year in August I attended the Echo Park Rising festival here in Los Angeles. It was perfect. 
It's about the summer music, art, food and local business celebration of Echo Park.
It was also named the Best Music Festival by LA Weekly in 2016.

The best part of the festival is you get to listen to so much new talent and some of the seasoned local musicians at bars and venues in the same area. Loads of networking opportunities and you get make new friends. :)

The Echo is where we spent most of our time mainly. These people get the best artists every time!
I love the back patio stage there. It's pretty small but doesn't stop people from going crazy.

Yeah there was almost a mad mosh pit happening out there!

At one point, while there was a dance party going  on at the upper stage with a pretty cool DJ...

This dude was crowd-surfing at the stage downstairs.
I love how the guy ended up standing on the stage, did the metal (\m/) sign and jumped back in the crowd.
This was the main stage. Whole bunch of people here!

Then we found this rapper dude at the Lost Knight.
It was a fun gig. :)

And here's one last bonus video from a random store which was participating in the festival as a venue.
I don't really remember the name of the place but I do remember the band.
They are called Levitation Room.
This is a new band I discovered at the festival and I actually went to see them live again recently.
They are pretty awesome!
