 --- ### Hello Moonkarters! I hope you are enjoying the adrenaline rush while racing through the neon asphalt race tracks of Moonkarts against other players, while filling your reward bag with more and more Colony tokens. This newly launched web3 game is literally breaking the barrier of play2earn games with its jaw-dropping gameplay, well-crafted token economy and not to mention, the pure thrill that you experience while racing with your Kart-style cars, loaded with car parts, accessories and power-up cards. I have been playing this game for around 2 months now and not to mention, I am slowly getting addicted to this game. Nowadays, I am playing this game on a daily basis, while planning to invest more in it to upgrade my Racing setup and increase my Colony stake. ---  --- Now, as this is a brand new gaming project that just got launched some months ago and people are just discovering it and beginning their journey, I think right now maybe a very good time to start your journey in Moonkarts to stay ahead of the crowd. But in order to play Moonkarts, there are 2 requirements: a player needs a Kart and a Driver card to be able to start racing in this game. So, the first question that arises in the minds of newly onboarded players is which cards to buy, depending on their budget, to get the best stats and performance while racing in Moonkarts. So, in this post, I will be talking about my performance in this current ranked season and about my own racing Kart and whether you should buy it or not. So, no matter if you are just starting your journey or have been playing Moonkarts for a while, I hope this post will be helpful for you. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive into today’s topic without any further ado. ---  --- If you have already been playing this game, then you must have noticed that the ongoing ranked season #21 has only approximately. 3 hours left to end. After the season reset, all the players who actively participated in multiplayer mode in this ongoing season will get their share of rewards and enter into a fresh new ranked season. Now, for me, I started playing in multiplayer from season #18 onwards, but I have performed the best in this season so far. As shared in the screenshot above, I have successfully secured the 5th rank in Moonkarts ranked leaderboard and if I maintain this position until the season end, then I would get rewarded with a whopping 10,404 Colony tokens. Right now, my Colony token staking factor is 10.2, as I only have around 17,750 Colony staked. But, I have worked hard to earn a good Ranking Point in this season and reached 1725, which helped me to reach the 5th position. ---  --- Now talking about the Orbitals Leaderboard, I am still struggling to pick up those small Orbital items scattered on Race Tracks, probably because I get too focused on losing my opponents. However, due to my heavy playing in this season, I did manage to collect a handful of Orbitals, which earned me a total of 71,280 Orbital points and also earned me some Colony rewards. As you can see from the screenshot above, I have managed to sneak in the top 10 list and right now sitting in the 8th place and if I secure this position until season end, I will be earning another 191 Colony tokens. Its not much but if you know about the seasonal reward pool distribution, orbital colony pool holds the highest colony share and distribute 5 Million colony tokens to players, so the more Orbitals you found on race tracks (at least 3 per race to get counted) and able to protect them till the end of the race from your opponent power-up cards throughout the season, the more Colony you earn. If you take a look at the top 3 positions of the Orbital leaderboard, the first place is earning a whopping 256,832 Colony tokens, the second place is earning 147,887 and the third place is earning 122,909 Colony tokens. Without a doubt, if you play well and extensively throughout the whole season while focusing on collecting at least 3 orbitals per race to earn orbital points, there is a high chance that you can reach the top 3 positions and earn a significant amount of Colony tokens per season. Saying that, from this next season onwards, I will be shifting my focus onto Orbitals as well and try my luck if I can also reach the top 3, but will the ones dominating these top 3 places right now allow me to enter the treasure cave? Let us find out in the next season! ---  --- Now, I have been using a level 1 Quasar Sport in my racing setup since the beginning, which I found out from opening 5 Centauri packs. This is an Epic Rarity card, so better than Common and Rare rarity cards but not as good as a Legendary card. First of all, this Kart provides great stats of 114.1 Speed, 60 Acceleration, 60 Handling and 60 Health and for me, it has been serving well on race tracks and I even won against legendary karts a couple of times in this season. Right now, my Quasar Sport is at 5 BCX and I am trying to buy another 5 cards to upgrade it to level 2, which hopefully will enhance my performance even further. ---  --- Now, looking at its stats table, a level 1 Quasar Sport kart (1 BCX card) holds 3 tech slots and 3 power up slots, which you can use to load car parts and power-up cards to enhance the overall stats of your racing setup, along with the racing stats that I mentioned above. If I manage to upgrade my Quasar Sport to level 2 (10 BCX cards), then its stats will be increased to 122.3 Speed, 67.2 Handling, 67.2 Health and 67.2 Acceleration. However, its slot count does not increase at level 2, but that won't bother you cause it has enough slots in tech cards, power-ups and Trunk already. ---  --- Now, looking at the market, the Quasar Sport kart is currently being sold for 5.60$ per BCX, which is a great deal if you ask me, because I have been monitoring the price of Quasar Sport for a while now and used to see it listed for minimum 7.5$, only until recently where 5 new cards got listed for 5.60$ per BCX. In case you are looking for a gold foil Quasar Sport card, not a single one is listed currently on the market, which clearly shows how popular this card is in Moonkarts. ---  --- Last but not least, I think Quasar Sport is a great kart if you want to be competitive in Moonkarts but don't want to spend a fortune after legendary karts. If you look at the market, there is only 1 Regular foil and 1 gold foil Arachno Eclipse legendary Kart listed in the market and they would cost you 150$ and 200$, respectively. But comparing stats, a level 2 Quasar Sport kart contains almost the same stats as this legendary kart, but will cost you much less. Now, depending upon your investment amount, you may also look at the Rare and Common cards, but they are not so competitive at level 1 and need to be upgraded to high levels to compete against epic and legendary karts.
