Kid and his cow dog. This cow thinks she is a dog. Never intended to get a cow. I'm fine with the dogs, cats, turtle, chickens.  A cow was not on the radar. She lived on a dairy farm my son works at. The day he helped deliver her, about 5 years ago, he drug us up the street to see this cow. He said she looked a little like a dog. Later they found out she acted like a dog also. She was a milking cow that did not like her job a lot. She just wanted to be a pet. 
    She got her wish. Now I know it sounds crazy. A cow wanted to be a pet. The farmer we got her from told me the day we picked her up. "This thing is not a farm animal." She always waits around. Now I know it's not the greatest pic in the world. I looked out the window and saw him ride her through the front yard. She didn't care at all. She got the life she wanted and we got the biggest dog in town. And she looks happy.
