Prometheus is a titan who sees the future according to Greek mythology. Prometheus did not take sides when Zeus started a war against Kronos. And therefore Zeus did not punish Prometheus.

Prometheus did not like the Olympos gods. And that's why Prometheus created people from the mud. And Prometheus gave these people fire and knowledge as gifts. Zeus was very angry about this. And Zeus chained Prometheus at the summit of the Caucasus mountain. And every day an eagle came and eaten Prometheus's liver. Zeus also punished people.

But Prometheus was rescued by her son Herakles. And Prometheus ate the eagle's liver to penalize Zeus. Finally, Zeus forgave Prometheus. And Prometheus began to live again in Olympos.
