Every week I check what the Reddit Community is saying about crypto. I do this by scraping the comments of the daily discussion of the Cryptocurrency Reddit page (with over 743.000 readers) using Python. In total over 886 comments were placed on the 11th of October. I will compare the comments with past weeks. Here are the results:

<h1>The results</h1>

The table above shows the top 10 words used in the comments of the 11th of October and previous dates (5th of August and 10th of September). The top 10 roughly remains the same. For the second time in the past weeks Bitcoin is not the most mentioned word on the daily discussion. Crypto (76x) instead is mentioned the most. New words in the top 10 are: Coinbase (49x) and Tether(32x). The reason Coinbase is mentioned often is that the platform has added the coin 0x (19x), more here: https://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-adds-its-first-ethereum-token-to-professional-trading-platform/.  In line with past posts, the terms Up (53x), Buy(44x), Price (36x) and Down (35x) are mentioned often.  Other currencies mentioned besides Bitcoin and Tether are: 0x (19x) and Ethereum (17x).
