Hi Steemians, thanks for having me along for the ride!

My name is Marcus Braeburn, probably. Well, in this new and exciting world of the internet and social media profiles who really know who anybody is anymore, huh? 

I am a former film restoration artist from the UK and I currently live in Spain. As a card carrying member of the Labour Party I firmly believe that Jeremy Corbyn, a grey haired old man from south west England, will change the world. My main activity at the moment is writing a novel. Some days I am positive and in love with the idea, on other days I want to strip off my clothes and walk slowly into the sea never to return. However, despite the novel, I try to remain upbeat and look on the bright side of life!

When I am not writing (or banging my head against the keyboard) I produce and co-host a podcast, take photographs, make some videos and enjoy the occasional flutter. I am enormously excited about becoming part of the Steemit community. From what I have heard this is a platform that will inspire, motivate and reward me in my creative endeavours like no other. I genuinely look forward to being educated and entertained by the brilliant people I know inhabit this awesome space. 

As a newbie here I would also say that any advice, tips or warnings will be greatly appreciated...

Finally a digital shoutout to my good friend, and long time Steemit member, Toonpunk. He first pointed me in this direction many months ago and has continued to harass me to get involved ever since. Cheers buddy, I will try to do you and the community proud! :-)
