## Samsung announces the first curved QLED monitor with the Thunderbolt 3 interface

Samsung has prepared for release a new monitor CJ791. This novelty is positioned as the first curved monitor with support for the Thunderbolt 3 interface.

Monitor Samsung CJ791 is designed for use in business and entertainment. It has a diagonal display of 34 inches and supports QHD resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels (21: 9 aspect ratio). The novelty is based on QLED technology, provides 178-degree viewing angles and has a screen curvature of 1500R. The response time of the matrix is ​​stated at 4 ms. A special Game Mode Game Mode dynamically adjusts the chroma and contrast settings for each scene to provide the most realistic content transfer. Thanks to the thin lateral frame, the device can be effectively used in configurations from multiple monitors. Thanks to the Thunderbolt 3 interface, the user can organize the workspace using a laptop, monitor, peripheral equipment (for example, external storage or video cards). At the same time, it is possible not only to transmit the video signal to the monitor, but also up to 85 W of power to power the laptop.

The new Samsung CJ791 monitor will be displayed during the CES 2018 exhibition. Information about the price and timing of the launch of the new products has not yet been reported.
