### Samsung released the Galaxy S8 in a new color Burgundy Red and received a patent for a fingerprint scanner located under the display

Meanwhile, the network has information that the smartphone Galaxy S9, which should first be presented at CES 2018 in early January, can receive a fingerprint scanner located under the screen. This week, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) approved the application filed by Samsung in April, describing the corresponding development.

The patent indicates that the smartphone screen can have up to 12 pressure points to ensure safe operation of applications, contacts and messages. Judging by the description, the fingerprint sensor will be located between the touch panel and the protective glass. The pressure sensor attached to the drawings is located below the panel, which will simplify the task of restricting access, for example, to the gallery of images. After successful authentication, the smartphone will display all the photos, otherwise only a part of the pictures will be displayed. Similarly, other applications will work, only in the hands of the owner the smartphone will show all the data.
