Started to write my monthly long form article. 

My writing genie usually weaves her magic. Today she decided to observe my attempts with amusement. 

My brain , "You wasting your time when folk have no patience to read long articles. You are conditioned to write short posts. Just stick with what the crowd wants"

Me " I love to write long form. I know not many read this. But why should I give this up for what the crowd wants"

My Brain" There you go........living on another planet"

Me"That's me. I like living on another planet and indulging myself. Now it is a question of coaxing the writing genie to do her job, and not be a spectator"

My Brain"She is not going to listen to you, to tap out a long article"

Me"I will make her"

It's almost 7 Pm. No luck with her yet. Will try tomorrow. 

I will not give up the medium that I love........

Is my brain telling me the right thing? 

Have we all become grasshoppers, that our attention spans are limited for reading as well as writing. 

Is this the inevitable evolution?
