The other day, I tricked my friend into participating in haturday. @thisgirl is already on Steemit and I was hoping to inspire her to participate in this fun challenge.
I find that people new to the platform start writing beautiful posts they spend lots of time on. But nobody knows they are here yet and nobody sees the posts. They get frustrated and leave.
That is why I think that a fun tag like haturday is a great way to get started. Keep writing those long posts, but start participating in haturday. A picture of you - or someone you know and lover (I guess that is optional) with a hat - any hat.
Then visit all the other haturday participants and leave a comment. Soon, you have lots of friends.
