Belgian architects from Klaarchitectuur have renovated a historic chapel in Sint-Truiden to make it a dynamic coworking space.

The project was developed to restore the public use of the building, the site now offering a series of versatile workspaces. The main function of Waterdog is to provide a new home to the architects who designed it, alongside various offices and rooms that can accommodate events. At the heart of the chapel, Klaarchitectuur has kept a vast open plan, around which each department is stacked to receive a different view of the original and renovated interior architecture. By building contemporary forms within a historic structure, the architects aim to provide an inspiring experience for those who work and visit the building, presenting a new perspective for each architectural style.
