**10 WAYS I THINK WILL DO.**
1. If you are new to steemit do a research or read the [steemit FAQ](https://steemit.com/faq.html), find the best and the asiest way for you to learn.
2. Be yourself dont try to immitate other people attitude and dont try to change yourself to earn votes and high payouts that will not work at all so just be yourself and be true.
3. Make an effort on your every post do your best to make it beautiful and clear make your posts extraordinary to caught the attention of others
4. Boost your self confidence, dont be shy to share things thats running in your mind dont be afraid to try new things.
5. Find friends in steemit and build a good rationship to them support them, support who support you.
6. Do your best to reply or upvote the people commented on your blogs/posts, always put a response and say thank you to them.
7.  Work hard all the things made by effort and hardworks are the things most appriciated by others.
8. manage your time, Spend time with your family, always make time to relax this can helps you to refresh your mind and think positively to make a beautiful contents
9. Promote steemit in your community, share the beauty of steemit to others especially your friends and relatives, show them its potential to build a better community.
10. Just enjoy your stay in steemit. and be active.

**10 WAYS TO LET YOURSELF DOWN**

1. dont spam, this will irritate your followers and ended up unfollow you, make a limit on your posts 1-5 times a day would be better.
2. Dont plagarized other people contents or copy paste contents on other website or else cheeta is the only supporter you've got.
3. Dont make an arguement to other people dont fight them just like youre on the freestyle rap battle.
4.  dont post contents that you dont know at all because other people will ask what is, how does, where is and when questions.if they ask question what will you say?
5. Dont always do or comment follow for follow, upvote for upvote tecnique this style will not work at all and besides your not a ninja after all.
6. dont comment your post links to other people posts without any good reasons
7. Dont loose hopes even no one upvote on your posts just keep it up untill you reach your goals
8. Dont comment bad words to other people posts, you will be muted by other users by doing that.
9. dont commit promisses to other steemians if you are not able to do it.
10. Dont be negative, dont get affected by bad the opinion of other, see it in a positive ways make it an inspiration, for you to reach your goals.
