0.000 HBDFor women, men with status/power/charisma/money are usually handsome. @honeydue is right when she emphasizes the fluidity of women's perception of male looks. When people talk about sexual preferences they usually can't help but talk about them from the perspective of their own sex or themselves. Men tend to overestimate the importance of raw looks for women and women tend to overestimate the importance of "how you carry yourself" for men. What women tend to value in men is if they're successful or not or if they have potential to become successful. In high school, that may mean being able to be good at sports and popular. Later in life, it means different things. Women tend to look for all kinds of direct and indirect indicators of actual or potential success in men when they evaluate them as mate prospects. Men of all ages emphasize youth, health and looks. Later in life as experience accumulates men begin to evaluate women more broadly as they have learned that being with an attractive woman can easily be a drain on their life quality depending on a lot of things.
