###### Welcome to my everyday steemit blog #4 What is steemit? my own definition


Many steemians still don't even know or understand what the platform is all about,the troubles and struggles,the benefits and hustle. 
it seems they don't understand the whole concept of steemit,i too may not be hundred percent correct on. this blog as i am not Ned but i should be pretty close to a straight forward steemit definitions,that was why i titled it  *"what is steemit? my own definitions"*. 

Lots of us still see steemit as a quick money scheme, for your information steemit is not a ponzi scheme,i am so sorry to disappoint you. 
steemit is more than that, steemit runs in your blood now if you are a user. 

Steemit has a lot to do with strategies and plans in order to succeed on it, 
steemit is like a project you make all necessary plans and arrangements in other not to fail and to achieve your purpose, you  still may fail especially when you are not a whale. 
and meanwhile not all whales you see on steemit are successful, you maybe a minnow and be more successful than most of them some are here for same minnows purpose of making quick money.

So they are left behind and stock in a loop of not knowing the route to follow next is abandoning accounts.

I find steemit quit intriguing, interesting, detestful and also hateful with some whales who has lots of steem powers mostly investors who claim to be helping the minnows meanwhile they are helping them self's in what ever abuse they indulge on, though this #4 blog post wasn't supposed to talk about the injustice of whales to minnows and whales to whales as that would be talked about on episode 9 of ***''everyday-steemit"*** but i just have to touched that aspect in order for you to see that even after you have been successful, you still have a lot to do to maintain your successfulness on the platform. 
###### lots of angry whales are always on the look out of who to devour and used that as an advantage to add to their wealth and when doing such act they will title it **saving the reward pool or fighting spam** lol

Bunch of hypocritical nuisance,irritated nonentities with their altruism puerile bunch of mediocre behaviors.
i pray one day satoshi nakamoto  himself will join steemit and start Flagging them who flagged the innocent. 
we should see a situation of 
(unflagged flagged flaggers) 

#### what is steemit 
Steemit is a platform,a website, a community and also a blogging Avenue or podium where created Contents are rewarded to the creators or in short rewards content creators with its special currencies. 

lets take for example -
* earth is steemit 
* God is blockchain 
* we get rewarded with life- as that is the greatest gift so is steem. 

* Steemit can not reward content creators on its own, 
* steemit has to have a special abilities like the super hero's we watch on tv, 
* steemit has to be fair like the Justice League and not like spider man who only wants to save mary jane. (Steemit is not a grumpycat oriented) 
* steemit has to prove its also interactive and does what it says. 

 All this are possible with the powers of blockchain. 
* blockchain is a digital ledger where transactions made in crypto currencies are made openly and publicly. 
with the name blockchain, it means a continuous growing list of blocks that are linked to each others,chained and secure, this transaction can not be altered as it is managed by peer to peer networks, from of computer to another, with the block technology. 

with out blockchain steemit is just an ordinary website like facebook, WordPress reddit, you name it.

This means steemit became extraordinary with the addition of blockchain and other websites can also decide to be extraordinary  if they should run on a blockchain or if they should use the **SMT**

[SMT](https://smt.steem.io)  is a smart digital asset on the steem blockchain, that has built in *"prove of Brain"* the token wasdeveloped to reward other content creator's its like the Erc20 tokens ij ethereum**smt** 

> An SMT is a native digital asset on the Steem blockchain. SMTs can be launched by anyone to help monetize online content and create incentives to encourage desired user behavior.

On my own opinion i think smt is like the ether platform where other tokens are derived from and in order to send such token the mother platform has to be available for such transaction to take place. 

* Steem is the body system of steemit and steemit is the interface of how beautiful we see steem to be.
* steem is an ecosystem in which many platform can be established and steemit is one of them only that steemit is the mother of all those platform now or the ones to come in the nearest future. 

* the blockchain uses steemit to interact with the users as the end products to reward users that uses steemit to stake, 
posting is the prove of staking. 
* steemit allows users to have a steem account for blockchain interaction 
* steem power determines what you have stack for seven days with the help of an interface - steemit
* votes count are Useless with out high percentage of steem power uses to upvote on such post but on social media platform the number of votes determines if a post is successful and responsible to show if its a trending post. 


. #### what makes up steemit
Steemit is made up of sets and stages in its career growth and movement .

*from minnows 
* dolphins 
* whales 
but i got to understand numbers of reputation really don't matter on steemit, what really matters is **the steem powers** you got. 

The steem power tells a user if they are whales or not. 
you can create an account now wait for seven days for activation,acquire large amounts of *steem power*
 Dear friend you are now a whale cause if the reputation numbers really do count, what then should we call @berniesanders,as the users account is even off minnows rep count,but he's got a large SP, yea yea account is a whale. 


#Outro 
i hope with this definition of mine you have understand what steemit is and how it works, and please take note this is how i define steemit and i may not be hundred percent right, reasons **I am not ned or dan**
