Hola amigos de Hive Diy! Hoy les traigo un tutorial de como renové la ventana de la cocina y realicé un porta copas con material reciclado. Ya yo tenía decorada la ventana de la cocina con papel de revista y algunas frases, pero quería que entrara un poco de luz.

>Hello friends of Hive Diy! Today I bring you a tutorial on how I renovated the kitchen window and made a cup holder with recycled material. I had already decorated the kitchen window with magazine paper and some phrases, but I wanted to let some light in.

En mi emprendimiento de artículos personalizados, tenía un vinil dorado como esmerilado que me había quedado de un proyecto del año pasado y se me ocurrió colocarlo en la ventana, en realidad es lo único realmente nuevo todo lo demás es reciclado.

>I had a gold frosted vinyl that I had left over from a project last year and I decided to put it on the window, actually it is the only thing that is really new, everything else is recycled.

Los materiales que utilicé fueron:



Un tubo de cartón de esos donde vienen enrollan las telas en los almacenes, lo iban a botar y pues se lo pedí a la chica, que amablemente me lo dio.
Pintura de caucho gris o del color que tengan
Pintura a la tiza negra
Tornillos
El molde e revistas con frases que tenía en la ventana, lo volví a utilizar
Vinil adhesivo esmerilado dorado
Brocha
Cortadora
Regla o metro
Lápiz
Tijeras
Pistola de silicón
 
>The materials I used were:
>A cardboard tube of those where they roll up the fabrics in the stores, they were going to throw it away and I asked the girl, who kindly gave it to me.
Gray rubber paint or whatever color you have.
Black chalk paint

The mold and magazines with phrases that I had in the window, I reused it.

Primero para realizar el porta copas, medí y marque 90 cm en el tubo que es la medida de ancho de mi ventana.

>First to make the cup holder, I measured and marked 90 cm on the tube, which is the width of my window.

Una vez marcado con tirro o cinta corté dos tubos de 90 centímetros cada uno, aquí tuve que pedir ayuda a mi papá con la cortadora ya que el tubo de cartón era bastante difícil y duro de cortar.

> Once marked with tape I cut two tubes of 90 centimeters each, here I had to ask my dad for help with the cutter since the cardboard tube was quite difficult and hard to cut.

Luego, marcamos y cortamos el orificio en forma de T por donde pasaran nuestras copas, la medida fue de 1.5 centímetros de alto, de manera que entrara la base de las copas. 

>Then, we marked and cut the T-shaped hole through which our cups would pass, the measurement was 1.5 centimeters high, so that the base of the cups would fit through.

Con la pintura de caucho gris, le di una capa como fondo a los dos tubos y dejé secar, unas 3 horas. 

>With the gray rubber paint, I gave a layer as a background to the two tubes and let dry, about 3 hours.

Luego, con la pintura de tiza, pinte los dos tubos de color negro y deje secar. Acá le di dos capas de pintura.

>Then, with the chalk paint, I painted the two tubes black and let them dry. Here I gave two coats of paint.

Mientras se secaban los tubos; procedí a la decoración de la ventana, retiré con cuidado el papel de revista que la recubría. Luego, tome las palabras que había escrito en el papel de revista y las recorte; para pegarlas de manera intercalada con el vinil adhesivo.

> While the tubes were drying, I proceeded to decorate the window, carefully removing the magazine paper that covered it. Then, I took the words that I had written on the magazine paper and cut them out; to glue them in an intercalary way with the adhesive vinyl.

Y con una regla medí el vinil adhesivo y corte listones de 37 centímetros de ancho por 5 centímetros de alto (ver imagen).

>And with a ruler I measured the adhesive vinyl and cut strips of 37 centimeters wide by 5 centimeters high (see image).

Cuando ya tenía el diseño, procedí a pegarlas con la pistola de silicón en la ventana que estaban limpias y libre de aceite o cualquier suciedad. Decidí pegarlas, alternando una palabra y un vinil adhesivo dorado a lo largo de todo el vidrio de la ventana.

> Once I had the design, I proceeded to glue them with the silicone gun on the window that were clean and free of oil or any dirt. I decided to glue them, alternating a word and a gold adhesive vinyl along the entire length of the window glass.

Una vez lista la decoración de los virios de la ventana, coloqué un listón de madera que tiene las mismas medidas que los tubos (90 cm de ancho) y busqué con los tubos de cartón, que ya estaban secos. 

>Once the decoration of the window virios was ready, I placed a wooden strip that has the same measures as the tubes (90 cm wide) and I searched with the cardboard tubes, which were already dry.

Para fijar los tubos a la ventana, le coloque en el marco dos tornillos de lado y lado; para que con el peso de las copas no se cayeran los tubos (ver imágenes).

>To fix the tubes to the window, I placed two screws in the frame on both sides, so that the weight of the glasses would not cause the tubes to fall out (see images).

Luego, tomé todas las copas y coloque una a una alternando diseños y tamaños. Tenía unos vasos y decidí colocarlos debajo de las copas pero me pareció que no se veía bien y solo deje las copas y en la parte superior una planta y unas botellas.

>Then, I took all the glasses and placed them one by one alternating designs and sizes. I had some glasses and decided to place them under the glasses but I thought it didn't look good so I just left the glasses and on top a plant and some bottles.

Esta es una opción súper sencilla y económica si vives en un espacio pequeño y no tienes donde colocar tus copas. También, puedes colocarle unas repisas y colocas vasos u otros utensilios decorativos.

>This is a super simple and economical option if you live in a small space and have nowhere to place your glasses. Also, you can place some shelves and place glasses or other decorative utensils.
