Happy weekend to us all ,how are u all doing and how was our weekend I hope you all spent your weekend well ,I'm  happy to share my post in this community after a very long time  have posted in this needlework Monday community I will love to Share this little tutorial on how I made this lovely wrap gown the material is stretching in nature .

I used 2trouser of material to made this gown 
 
Cutting and sewing stage 

The gown is a wrap gown I frstly cut the half length which is 16 " length after that I measured the shoulder to be 8" and the armhole to be 8" then the burst is 10" and the waist is 9" after that I cut the neckline the front is lap neck and the back is high by 4"width  1" length  for the back then I use the back to cut the front after that I cut the sleeve to be 10" length and 9" width.

The sket part was in form of flare I folded my materials into 4 then measured the waist circumference to 9 round then I added 4" to lap the front so that it will not open at the front when the gown is been wrap,then 2" band long enough to wrap round the waist line.

After cutting I took it to my sewing machine and join all the necessary part together and I tap the neck and hem the flare and also weave all the sewing part so that it will look neat from inside.

Finishing


After I delivered the cloth to my friend she wore it  to  church and took  pictures  and the gown look good on her.

How to wore it ..

She pass the first edge of the gown through an  opening by the side of the dress then the second edge comes from the other side then She tie it round her waist to the front .
