0.000 HBDTUTORIAL - How to start making music part 1
I'm starting a series of tutorials on how to create music in different styles. I will describe as much as possible and know how to bite music creation. So to work. Have you ever wondered what this process looks like? It is so long and tedious, but the end result can sometimes surprise even the creator himself. First of all, apart from the programs and equipment themselves - which help in creating - the most important thing is to have an idea. An idea for what you want to present. Imagine that creating music is like painting, but painting with sounds. Even when you hear that, in your opinion, something in the song "does not play" - it is the creator's intention to make it sound like that. Okay. We know what we want to create. We have a thought in mind, a melody that follows us. How to get to creating a song now? The best solution would be if you could play an instrument, because it would facilitate the whole process. We know that our memory is not perfect, that even small distraction can cause the disappearance of this perfect melody in your head. On what and what to record? At the beginning, focus on making the melody write - record. It may be diminution, you can play what you want, just so that you could return to it if you lost it, listen to it. As soon as I play something, I take the guitar and record myself, even on the recorder in my cell. It will be easier for the future. You already have this melody saved and what next? Now let's focus on the choice of hardware and software. It does not have to be the top shelf equipment, just the simplest DAW is enough for you. DAW - Digital Audio Workstation - a computer program designed to work with sound, recording, editing, mixing and mastering. (for wikipedia) I hope you enjoy my first post. In the following I will present individual DAWs with their pros and cons, and how to create music step by step. Sorry for my english. I greet you in the new year 2018
