안녕하세요? 트리입니다.
지난 시간에는 스팀잇 태그의 의미와 신규 가입자의 첫 인사 태그 등에 대해 정리해 보았는데요.
오늘은 스팀잇의 주요 기능인 투표에 대한 이야기를 해볼까 합니다.

# 스팀잇은 투표(Vote)로 먹고 사는 시스템입니다.

처음에 스팀잇을 접했을 때 '이게 뭐지?' 싶었습니다.
모든 글과 댓글의 아래에는 페이스북의 '좋아요~'와 같은 느낌의 'Upvote'이라는 파랗고 동그란 화살표 아이콘이 있고, 그 옆에는 달러로 표시된 금액이 있습니다.
찾아보니 '좋아요'라는 의미의 Upvote를 받으면 글의 가치가 올라가고, 글의 가치가 올라가면 가치를 표시하는 방법으로 스팀달러가 그 글에 표시됩니다.
그리고 그 스팀달러로 표시된 숫자는 1주일 후에 나누어 이 글과 관여된 사람들에게 분배됩니다.
재미있는 것은 글 작성자 이외에 투표자로 글의 가치를 인정해 준 사람에게도 스팀달러를 분배해 준다는 거였습니다.

# 그런데 어떻게 없던 돈을 준다는 거죠?

비트코인을 위시한 블록체인 기술 기반의 가상화폐들은 채굴이라는 작업을 거치면서 화폐를 새로 찍어내게 되는데, 스팀도 마찬가지입니다.
사용자가 스팀잇 커뮤니티에 글을 쓰고, 추천 등을 받게 될 때 생기는 스팀달러(혹은 스팀파워)는 새로 발행되는 가상화폐 스팀의 파생상품입니다.
사용자들이 커뮤니티에 투표로 가치를 부여해 줌으로써 새로 발행되는 스팀을 나누어 주는 겁니다.

# 그럼 없던 돈은 누가 만들어 내나요?

스팀의 채굴작업을 진행하는 사람들을 증인들(witnesses)이라고 합니다.
현재 20명의 증인들이 시스템을 돌려 스팀을 채굴하고, 일정 부분 수수료를 받습니다.
그리고 스팀의 증인은 고정되어 있는 것이 아니라 유저들의 투표를 통해 바뀔 수 있습니다.

# 투표를 해도 돈을 준다면 투표를 많이 하면 돈을 많이 받겠네요?

맞습니다.
하지만 스팀잇은 사용자들의 무분별한 투표로 인한 혼란을 방지하기 위해 사용자들의 투표 능력을 제한해 놓았습니다.
바로 투표 파워(보팅파워라고도 많이 이야기합니다.)입니다.
처음 시작시에는 100%의 보팅파워로 시작하는데, 투표를 하게 되면 점점 줄어듭니다.
그리고 줄어든 보팅파워는 하루에 20% 정도(한 시간에 0.8%)정도밖에 회복이 되지 않습니다.
물론 한 번 해보시면 됩니다. ㅎㅎ

# 보팅 파워 확인 방법

보팅파워는 스팀잇 사이트에서 바로 확인이 안됩니다.
제가 알고 있는 방법은 크게 두가지 입니다.

* https://steemd.com/@mastertri 처럼 steemd.com 사이트에 보고자 하는 계정을 붙여줍니다.
* https://steemstats.com 통계를 조회하고자 하는 계정을 입력합니다. 여기는 계정명에 '@'를 붙이지 않아도 됩니다.

# 스팀 파워가 높은 사람의 영향력이 더 큽니다.

당연한 이야기지만, 스팀잇 내부에서 스팀파워가 높은 사용자의 영향력이 더 큽니다.
스팀 파워 높은 사람('고래'라고들 하지요)의 투표를 받은 글이 더 높은 스팀달러가 책정됩니다.
이 부분은 나중에 다시 조금 더 정리해 볼까 합니다.

# 참, 내 글에도 내가 투표할 수 있습니다.

내 글에 내가 투표해도 돈이 지급됩니다.
거 참 신기한데.. 그렇습니다.
그래서 자신의 글에 자기가 투표해도 됩니다.
요즘들어 자신의 글에 자기가 투표하는 글을 찾아서 Downvote 하는 로봇이 생겼다고도 하더라구요.

# 다운보트? 플래그?

글 아래에 Upvote가 있다면 반대 개념인 downvote는 플래그라는 이름으로 존재합니다.
이 아이콘은 아래 화살표 아이콘이 아니고, 깃발 아이콘이어서 직관적이지는 않습니다.
게다가 글 아래에 있지 않고, 글 제목 옆에 있어서 이게 뭔가.. 즐겨찾기인가.. 싶어 클릭하는 뉴비들도 있다고 들었습니다.
당연히 플래그를 받으면 글의 가치가 떨어집니다.

Last time I tried to summarize the meaning of the Steemit tag and the first greeting tag of the new subscriber.
Today, we will talk about the main feature of Steemit .

Steemit is a system to eat and live by vote.

When I first encountered Steemit, I saw an icon.
At the bottom of every article and comment is a blue and round arrow icon called "Upvote" that looks like "Like" on Facebook, next to it there is the dollar amount.
When I look up, I get the value of Upvote, which means "good", and when the value of the article increases, the Steem Dollar is displayed in the article as a way of displaying the value.
And the numbers denoted by that Steem Dollar will be distributed to the people involved in this article after a week.
The interesting thing is that in addition to the writer, it also distributes the Steem Dollar to the person who recognized the value of the article as a voter.

# But how do you get the money you did not have?

Virtual coins based on block-chained technology, such as Bitcoin, will take money out of the process of mining, and Steem is the same.
The Steem Dollar(or Steem Power) generated when a user writes to a Steemit community and receives suggestions is a derivative of the newly issued virtual money Steem.
It gives users a vote on the community to distribute the newly issued Steem.

# Who does not make money?

Witnesses are the people who work on the Steem mining.
Twenty witnesses currently turn the system around to mine the Steem and receive a certain fee.
And Steem witnesses are not fixed, but they can be changed by users' votes.
You can also participate in a witness vote.

# If you give money if you vote, do you get a lot of money if you vote a lot?

Yes.
But Steemit has limited the ability of users to vote to avoid confusion caused by irresponsible voting.
It is Voting Power.
At the start of the Steemit, you start at 100% of your voting power.
And the reduced voting power increases only 20% per day (0.8% per hour).

# How to know my Voting Power?

Voting power can not be confirmed directly from Steemit site.
There are two major ways I know.

* Attach the account you want to see at steemd.com site like https://steemd.com/@mastertri.
* Https://steemstats.com Enter the account for which you want to view statistics. You do not need to add "@" to your account name here.

# Higher Steem Power has a greater impact.

Not surprisingly, Steemit has a higher influence on users with higher Steem Power.
A higher Steem rate will be awarded to a person who has been voted on by a person with a high Steem Power(called a "Whale").
I'll check this part later.

# I can vote on my posts.

If I vote in my article, money will be paid.
I'm really excited about it.
So you can vote on your own.
Nowadays, I found a robot to downvote by finding the article that you voted for in your article.

# Down Vote? flag?

If there is Upvote below the article, the opposite concept, downvote, exists as a flag.
This icon is not a down arrow icon, it is a flag icon, not intuitive.
And besides, it is not under the article, beside the title of the article, I heard that this is something.
Of course, if you receive the flag, the value of the article will decrease.
