Old art pieces-comparing with the new ones and the mistakes i made
Today i am going to share some art of mine that i did long time ago. I drew these before i knew about steemit so i never thought of taking process shots so i can't show you the process shots.

I am going to show you the difference between my past arts and the recent arts. Obviously in time i am making better arts now.

This is a drawing of a male face, probably some model i found on the internet. How good is this? is this as good as i make my art now? I don't think so.

While drawing these i made a lots of mistake. I always wanted to draw really fast, probably the influence of the youtube videos by watching which i learned to draw. in those videos those video maker edited their video in a very short time and that got into my head. so i didn't put much time into those art then. i was also very sloppy about the measuring and shadings.
i was kind of bad at shadings.
also i used to get really bored after spending some time on a single piece of art. that has changed now because i realized that art needs time. the more time you pour into your art the more beautiful it would be. on my last piece of art i spent about eight to nine hours and you can see the rough shading which still looks good.

if i had great blending tools and better art supplies i could have made it better.

lets see some more of my arts

i did all these art piece very fast except for the last one. i think the last is actually good. the face looks exactly like the model i was trying to draw.
and then i realized that i need to make art slowly and be patient.
it was a rough shading but still it was way better than all the others. also i used eraser a lot for that one. and i was really afraid to use eraser. why?
i was afraid that if i erase a part the next time it would be worse than i did now. but now i see that when i make mistakes i need to try to make them right.

so this was my today's blog. i hope you enjoyed reading and watching those arts.
